Paw Hut dog kennel

This is a really sturdy kennel, I’m so pleased with how it turned out . Some of the instructions were vague - where to place post for gate opening , where are all the screws supposed to go, and what is the bundle of zip ties for? It took me all day to build it by myself, but I’m in my 60’s. Very happy with it!

This was the hardest dog kennel I ever tried to assemble. Didn’t have the right kind of clamps for the wiring very difficult. I had to rewire some of the fencing because it had big holes in areas and I and I have Yorkshire terriers did not want their eyes to be ripped out with the wires. to help me make repairs and buy the correct clips for the wiring not satisfied at all.

Kind of weak, but works fine

It was relatively easy to assemble and technically does the job, but the chain link is VERY flimsy. It took three of us to unroll it because it kept getting tangled, and my dog is able to bend it pretty easily. I’ve had to reinforce the edges a lot to keep her from escaping. The gate is also pretty easy for her to push open if she throws her 60-lb weight at it. I had to put in a dig guard along the bottom and chain it at the top and bottom to keep it from twisting open when pushed. So yeah, it works, but from how much of a hassle it’s been to reinforce, I kind of wish I’d just spent more money on a better quality kennel. If you have a really determined or bigger dog, go with something more heavy duty.

Great and safe place for your pets

This chain link dog pen is easy to assemble, it took my husband about 1 hour, but he put it together by himself, instructions are pretty clear and all is number, so it was easy for him.

Good kennel

I put this together by myself, it was easy to construct the frame and door. I started with the base then I attached the vertical posts to the base and then I assembled the top piece by piece going around the frame. The mesh for the door stretched perfectly and I was able to secure it with the included zip ties and a few wire ties.

Strong and well thought out

Usually I have a hard time assembling items like this but this time I was pleasantly surprised at how well thought out this was. It makes sense how to put it together. It came with all of the parts so I could have it ready in an hour for my chickens. You can see that the canopy is attached tightly and the wind can go under it so it doesn't tear off like a cheap tarp would. This keeps my chickens corralled together so they can be safe at night and not bother my garden.

Definitely a solid 4 star item, really nice customer service.

It's nice and large, but there were a few issues. The first thing was that one of the three boxes was a little damaged in shipping and there weren't any bolts for the frame. They refunded us a little bit for the bolts though, very understanding and willing to help service. There was actually a little more chain link left over on the roll that we had to clip and it was a little bent in places at the top and bottom, but very sturdy to clip down. The tarp was a little saggy in some places, which stretched it when it rained, but it gives the shade and shelter needed. I have a 100lbs German Shepherd mix and a 35lbs Blue Heeler, so logically I thought that my biggest problem maker would be the bigger dog. He could clear a 5ft fence and run off to play, so I thought he might bend the fence and get through somehow. Nope, he can't climb or bend it. My Heeler, on the other hand, can squeeze through any little gap (so use ALL of the metal bands to clip it for max effect). Then, he climbed it and got stuck on the tarp roof.Anyways, it's good and sturdy. My dad was a bit busy and it took him 3 days to put it up without help, but it should only take afew hours with 2 or 3 people working on it.

Worst Product

The instructions are so vague it’s taken my husband and I days to assemble and still can’t figure it out. It’s not a rectangle either, by the way. It’s a square. The fencing is too long and nothing makes sense on the paper. Might as well not even send the instructions because it doesn’t tell you what to do anyways. Don’t waste your time!

Perfect size!

We got 2 new puppies and needed a better, fence-in-the-door type set up to aid in the potty training of our puppies. The fence looks so tight and professional, it looks how I would expect it to look if I paid a professional to do it. I'm certainly impressed with the outcome.
