Nice Faucet but Deck Plate is not included.
This is false advertising. I purchased this because it stated that it includes the Deck Plate. When I received the order, there was no Deck Plate. I called American Standard and they said that Lowe's site is wrong (false advertising). However, Lowe's refuses to pay for the plates! Offered only 10% discount. LOWES, Do better.
[Rewarded Review] Modern and sleek
This is sleek modern single handle faucet. It is a true Matte black. The fixture is a nice heavy weight is a great quality fixture. The drain is a pop up design keeping the faucet itself clean and updated with a “stalk” to pull up and down. My only issue with it is that it does not include a deck. The sink that we have at home is a 3 hole design. We needed a deck plate to cover. I set it up in the store for reference rather then disassemble our at home fixture. Over all a nice faucet for a single hole sink.
[Rewarded Review] Good quality faucet
First off I like the look of this faucet! The black finish is perfect with no blemishes and a semi matt black. I also like that it's a single handle design that has a very clean look to it. The faucet is a quality build and works perfectly with no leaks and a solid on/off when using it. The installation was straight forward with two caveats. First was the hose extensions were 1 inch short for my application due to my angle stops being mounted on the bottom of the vanity ( 2nd floor bathroom) which was resolved by adding 6 inch extensions. The second was the drain uses a 1/4" thick foam washer to provide the seal between the drain and the basin.This didn't allow enough of the threaded portion of the drain tube to protrude enough to install the rubber seal, washer and nut to secure the the drain to the sink from underneath. I resolved this by ditching the foam washer and instead using plumbers putty which allowed me to thread on the nut. This issue was most likely sink specific and my workaround solved the issue with no leaks so problem solved. I also liked the adapter plate (optional and not included) for use in a three hole sink is available which was perfect for my situation. A nice upgrade to my guest bathroom, with a clean look...
[Rewarded Review] Solid quality and finish on the American Standard Aspirations Petite Single Hole Deck Mount Bathroom Faucet
The faucet and drain from American Standard is one of the best faucets I have had to install for our powder room bathroom. The solid feel and finish on this faucet are some of the best I have seen over the years of replacing old leaky faucets. The matte black finish of the faucet and drain against our white pedestal sink gives it a really cool modern vibe with sleek lines. The water flow is great and the smooth feel of the single handle glide seamlessly when turning the water on and off and moving from hot to cold. It is super easy to operate and comfortable compared to inferior faucets. Definitely an upgrade with quality. The installation guide is very detailed and easy to follow. Everything was packaged nicely and labeled. It took me around 35 minutes in total to get everything setup and connected to the waterlines but guessing it could vary for others depending on the type of sink and cabinet setup everyone has. Overall I am very happy with this faucet and the sturdy feeling knowing that this will hold up very well considering the volume of traffic our powder room bathroom gets. Just all around a solid great quality faucet from American Standard.
[Rewarded Review] Smaller single hole bathroom faucet
The “Aspirations” by American Standard is an attractive modern bathroom single hole faucet. The matte black finish is smooth and consistent. The set includes a pop up drain and was easy to install. Our existing sink had a 4 inch faucet that included holes we needed to cover. I do wish this set came with a matching plate cover, but since it did not, I ordered one from Home Depot and it was here quickly. When we replace this vanity, we won’t need the plate cover and this faucet will look even better.

This is a nice little faucet. I picked it up because of the color. My bathroom is gray and white and it fits in nicely. Some of the nice features are everything is included. The water pipes were long enough to reach connections. It was very easy to install, and the instructions were perfectly clear. I like to pop up drain valve. I also enjoy having one handle to control the temperature. I find it annoying to use two handles to get the desired temperature. I’m very happy with my purchase and I would recommend to anyone needing a sturdy easy to install faucet.

This is a really nice minimalist style faucet. Simple elegance. The faucet came beautifully packaged and all parts needed were in the box. Changing out our old faucet was very simple. This faucet came with braided stainless hot and cold supply lines and a key tool to remove the aerator for cleaning. The matte black is beautiful and sleek to the touch. The faucet is quality made with excellent weight. The pop-up drain works flawlessly. I had a 3 hole sink and so I needed a base plate. I have left the old base plate installed until the new one, from American Standard, arrives.

WOW! The weight of this faucet says “quality”! It’s a beautiful faucet with a handle that moves back-and-forth like butter, lol, making it so easy to control the water pressure. Another big plus for me were that the waterlines were already installed on the faucet. Size is more than perfect for the limited space I have with a 24 inch vanity. It has a simple and timeless design. The faucet looks great and works like a charm. American standard outdid themselves with this one! Highly recommended.

Wife is totally excited for me to install this American Standard Aspirations Petite single vanity faucet, was actually surprised that it comes with everything needed to install. I have a 1/2 bath with a pedestal sink and is next on my remodel and very impressed with the high quality materials used for this faucet, and wife loves the push down drain and like how water lines are already attached to faucet so all that needs is to drop into vanity tighten up and then attach water lines, wife loves the rubbed bronze color that goes great with her bathroom decor. Will give more of an update once I start the remodel of bathroom, definitely will recommend this American Standard faucet with pop up drain with such great quality will recommend to family and definitely my friend’s.

This faucet from American Standard is a quality faucet designed for 1-hole mounting, although an optional, additional cost escutcheon plate (70204P0) is available from American Standard for 4” OC mounting applications. This faucet has solid metal construction, according to AS, but they do not specifically say it is solid brass. It does have a gleaming, flawless, bright chrome plated finish. The single handle has beautiful, smooth action throughout its complete range of motion and the, now standard in the industry, ceramic disc valve is designed to last for the life of the faucet. One design feature that I dislike is the 2 piece body construction. This creates a seam around the entire perimeter where the top of the faucet attaches to the main body. I am seeing this now as standard construction by some manufacturers but not others. Generally, when a faucet body is cast in a single pour of solid brass, an interior waterway is created, thus no seam. However, in my experience, faucets with seams have interior water passages made of plastic and are not cast in solid brass. I prefer former type of construction.

The American Standard faucet has a ceramic valve assembly. This produces a drip free lifetime of service. The handle moves glides so smoothly. Almost without effort. It helps control the water temperature and flow. Great upgrade for our bathroom sink. Single hole looks fantastic.

I have dealt with a number of different faucets, and this one really stands out. The handle and body are solid, heavy metal. No cheap chrome plated plastic here. The handle has a smooth, positive feel to it as you open and move it side to side. The drain components also feel great. It is a “push to close, push to open” style that is well built. Sometimes you are left guessing as to the longevity of things, but this will be around for a long time.

This is a beautiful polished chrome bathroom faucet with popup drain. You have to be impressed with the American Standard brand ...the name says it all. There is a reason why many public restrooms use American Standard fixtures ...they are simply the best. This faucet is very heavy and is very well-made. The finish is beautiful and I would expect it to last for many years. Installation is very easy, even if you've never installed a faucet before. You may need silicone caulk if your sink surface is uneven ...make sure you read the instructions, which are clear and well-written and well-illustrated. Just a nice, high-quality faucet. You really can't go wrong with American Standard ...you can literally feel the quality just by picking it up.

American Standard's Aspirations Petite Single Handle Deck Mount Bathroom Faucet With Drain in Polished Chrome is a sleek faucet with a minimalist design. It shows beautifully with a quality chrome finish. The parts are metal and the water lines were long enough to have an excess loop. It's a heavy piece and feels nice in your hand. I simply covered my 3 hole sink first by ordering a 4" deck plate item # 70204P0 from American Standard.
[Rewarded Review] Compact chrome vanity update
This low profile chrome faucet and drain kit looks great in the powder room. The faucet itself is simple curved edges on a compact rectangle spout and an offset shorter rectangular handle. The pop up drain works great and the water comes out pirated and bubbly with good pressure without being overly high pressure, which causes water spills from my particular vanity. I really like the clean, and simple shape and smooth water pressure. The only place there’s a brand logo is on the drain, which is a unique look and really keeps the faucet as simple as it can be. There is no hint on cold/hot from the handle so it’s a sacrifice for that same simple design, but something my guests have mentioned.

Almost Perfect ... Except there is a little plastic these days. A few years ago, these facets were made with all metal parts and that's still mostly the case. There are a few parts that are not and they may actually be for the better? If so, that's great. This is the "go to" faucet for all HandyManiacs rehabs. You know it's gonna work and you know it's going to be an easy install. Add to that a classic look and you are almost perfect.

I saw the advantage of a small sink faucet like this as providing more room for my face over the sink bowl. Others might like the size because it mates well with small sinks. Inspecting the faucet revealed a flawless chrome finish over a nicely ground and polished casting. The handle moves smoothly. The threads on the attaching rod and nut run smoothly. The connector hoses are clearly marked hot and cold but could have been about 3 inches longer to reach the shutoffs that might be a little further away in some vanities like mine. That meant a trip to The Home Depot for one-foot extensions. The groove for the O-ring on the sink or countertop side is machined flat to accommodate an O-ring with rectangular cross-section providing more contact than with others that simply provide for a round cross-sectional O-ring (see photo). The push-pop drain is all metal construction and well made with a white (neoprene?) O-ring for the top side seal. It won’t leach dye onto the sink like some others I have installed in the past that are black. You will need channel-lock pliers to tighten the nut that holds this in place unless you have an adjustable plumber’s wrench that opens from 1” to 3” (about $15 at The Home Depot).

The faucet itself is really nice but I can't give it 4 stars because of the price. I think you can find a really nice faucet that is less expensive. This does come with the push-down drain plug but so do some others. The drain ring is also the larger size, so keep that in mind. I installed a different drain this same size in a sink with a smaller beveled drain hole and it sticks up and is not flush with the basin, so there is an area around it where the water pools and will not drain all the water. Just something to think about. If you have the right size hole this works perfectly though. It is a solid faucet and looks nice. I like the petite size and one handle operation. Installing the faucet is typical of most faucets but there are better ones out there that make it so much easier to install.
