Hearthhaven 60” vanity- gorgeous

I purchased the Hearthhaven 60” vanity on Kohler.com and recently installed it and couldn’t be more impressed; so impressed that I’m going to write a detailed review- writing this on my phone so apologies for formatting or spelling errors:

Nauseous Chemical Odor after Unpacking (update/edit)

We purchased this despite seeing reviews about a chemical odor that was emitting from the vanity. I called your customer service to check on that review because I’ve always been a loyal Kohler customer and trusted your guidance. They told me there was no indication of any “chemical smell” in that type vanity and we should take some reviews with a “grain of salt”. This seemed plausible and we purchased the unit. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when this arrived and it had the most horrid odor when it was unpacked. It literally was sickening to my family despite sitting in the garage. It’s been in my garage since it arrived November 11th (today is Dec 15th) as we have attempt to off-gas the toxins that must be in the paint by fans and time sitting out of the house. We fortunately were able to delay the bath renovation until this week. We trusted Kohler on this and you let us down. We had already selected tile/paint/fixtures based on the vanity so we were forced to make this work and hope the odor diminished. The quality of the vanity is decent, but this was offset by the horrible odor, which I’m quite sure is a health issue. And here I thought the prior review that said the nauseating odor filled a 6000 sq ft home was just crazy… it was spot on because had we needed to install this shortly after it’s arrival we would have experienced exactly the same in our house. Fortunately I was able to spend the time to limit the hazard by reviewing off-gassing procedures for painted furniture. This vanity cost me many times the actual amount at purchase in time and aggravation. I would not recommend this to anyone based on my experience.

Nice enough, though for the price I’d expect less MDF. One of the drawers did not close properly, Koehler sent a replacement drawer slide which fixed the problem.

It looks nice in picture but not well constructed. The drawers are very hard to close. I would not buy it again.

Our Kohler - Hearthaven 24bathroom vanity cabinet with sink and quartz top has been a perfect fit and look for our half bath. It for great and is just the right size for a half bath. As always Kibler has delivered on the quality I have come to expect and the style and look has exceed my expectations. Installation was a bit tricky but not being a plumber and an average DIYer I still managed to get it done so don’t feel you can’t do it yourself. It provides good storage but it is only 24 inches so a few towels and some extra bath supplies is all you need to store hopefully. I would give the Kohler - Hearthaven 24" bathroom vanity cabinet with sink and quartz top two thumbs up and definitely recommend if you are in need a quality stylish vanity for your half bath.

What a difference this vanity made in my 1960's bathroom. I especially like unique styling which give a cozy updated feel. The look is very upscale and chique! It seems to have more room in the bottom cabinet than it looks.

[Rewarded Review] Great Vanity

I received this and immediately decided to replace our half baths pedestal sink. Ripped out the old and installed this new sink. Installation was a breeze and the included instructions were clear and easy to read. Total installation time for this vanity was about 30 mins. My wife and I live the new look and the added storage below the sink basin. The cabinet itself is made of sturdy wood that will last for years to come.

I ordered this as a gift for my daughter's half bath. It is absolutely stunning. Comes with the vanity, removable top and legs for raising off the floor. Directions are easy to follow and includes the tools you will need to install it such as silicone acrylic, screwdriver, level, etc. Measurements are approximately 18" by 24 1/2" by 34" and is perfect for her half bath. There is one large drawer and a cabinet with 2 doors underneath. The sink fits on top of the vanity and has one opening to install the faucet. The directions go step by step so anyone with basic DIY experience should be able to install it. The color is a distressed white so it looks antique. It is well-made and high quality to last for years. Definitely recommend it.

[Rewarded Review] Fit's perfect

I received the Kohler Hearthaven Vanity from the Try It Community. It fit my bathroom perfectly. It really gave my bathroom a lovely upgrade to my old cabinet. It took little to move it into place or hook up all the accessories i already had. In no time my bathroom looks even better than before.

Kohler Unresponsive

Good quality but Kohler cannot tell me which white backsplash goes with the countertop

In a word, regretful. The quality is not what was expected.

Great Storage

I bought this vanity over a month ago in preparation for my main bath remodel. Kohler had several 18’ depth vanities to choose from which is very difficult to come by these days. Love the look and the cabinet storage is amazing. The two bottom drawers are deep allowing for large lotion bottles, hair brushes, and hair tools. Very happy I chose this particular vanity…well built for sure!

Missing Hardware

Missing the hardware to connect the legs. Tried contacting Kohler directly, but they not taking any calls. Since this is a special order, no Home Depot store has the parts needed.

Hearthhaven Vanity

the integrated top and Kohler sink looks great and appear well made. The wood vanity itself seems nice but the structural integrity definitely needs to be a little more sturdy and solid for the weight of the countertop & sink to feel secure. In other words, the body of the vanity could use further reinforcement and a more solid thicker wood base

I got this vanity to use in renovation of our guest bathroom, which had a 1998 renovation previously. This vanity was a significant increase in quality, with solid construction as you would expect from Kohler. It is a pleasing appearance that is stylish yet sturdy and goes well with the early American decor I was trying to achieve. It is a roomy cabinet with good storage yet easy access for hooking up the plumbing.
