Did not like finish. I wanted a more matte black finish. It was a bit shiny.
We haven't installed it yet, but this is an extremely nicely made piece! It's much nicer than I had expected for the money.
installation
wonderful fixture, bright and well made. The only issue I had is that it was a little tricky to line up the three opposing screw holes on the cover unit with the base as installed on the ceiling as there's some slack between the cover and the base. That made it awkward to get the three small screws lined up. But that done, it should stay there for 50,000 hours so I'm OK with that too.
Nice looking.... but heavy!
I purchased this lamp for outdoor use. The lamp is really nicely made, with solid material. However, it is pretty heavy, not only requiring two people for installation, but possibly of concern if your ceiling is not so robust.

If you are looking for a sturdy round contemporary flush mount this is your fixture! It has weight to it and is built to stand the test of time with classical modern design with fine materials.
Great outdoor light
Led light is super crisp and very clean and modern design. I wish there was an option for a non frosted glass but I'm sure in the long run it will be easier with overall Maintinance vs clear glass.
