Excellent value for money

I'm very happy with this desk. It's sleek, stylish, and very useful. I needed a very narrow piece of furniture and was thrilled to find this secretary desk. It is also very affordably priced. Don't get me wrong, there were issued putting this desk together. One of the shelf boards has the holes on the wrong side, some perfectly lined up parts were very very hard to fit together and it took a very long time to do it, and the cam lock nuts were garbage and several broke. I would strongly suggest that you use an electric screwdriver (especially useful when you need to put screws where there are no holes). One of the doors was chipped but I contacted customer service and they sent me another. I used a second set of feet to stabilize the desk so I didn't need to anchor it to the wall. All in all, it's good value for money.

Design flaw and damage

One of the boards was not punched properly, could not assemble. Came damaged.

Improper fitting

Desk is heavy and sturdy for sure. And i like the look and fits my space. BUT for what i paid for it i would hope all pieces would come and would fit properly. The fold out section hinges unfortunately do not fit as they're supposed to so either have to figure out how to widen the space or not use it(which then it's just shelving) Super frustrating after putting the rest together.

Slim Secretary Desk

Love this! This desk is a great addition to any room. It is slim and fits in any small space. It definitely needs to be affixed to the wall. Good buy!

Too Difficult To Install

Perfect modern desk option when space is limited

While this piece is sturdy and beautiful, it is very difficult to build. It's sleek and modern and only sticks out about 8.5" off the wall when closed. The pull down desk feels durable, although it does hang at a slight slant. Best use would be for a laptop only, as we have tried 3 different monitors and none fits appropriately. We wanted a desk option that didn't take up much room in our guest bedroom, but still looked good and was sturdy. This piece definitely meets those needs. From a build perspective, there are more pieces than the typical IKEA item and one of the pieces was missing pre drilled holes, so we had to do lots o measuring to add them. In addition, you might need to be a mathematician to get the piece to hang perfectly on the wall (with ours the feet hover just a bit). Plan for several hours to install (and we've built a LOT of furniture over the years). I can say that the level of effort is worth it.
