Small straight spatula. It can be used literally for anything. Spreading butter on a toast, applying buttercream on a pastry and I sometimes I use it instead of a scoop for shortening since it's so easy to clean after.

Ateco products are quickly becoming some of my favorite. They're simple but there is quality in every material, from the hardwood, to the secure brass rivets, to the polished stainless steel. There's something about holding one of these that tells me that this is how these little spatulas are meant to be, after dealing with all the flimsy ones out there.

We use these to run tests on soil. There is no better brand on the market. We have some in the lab that are over 30 years old and while they don't look brand new, we fight over them. That is why I ordered more.

A Great Straight Spatula

Having a small straight spatula is a "Must Have" for every baker. These 4.25 inch Aztec wood handle straight spatulas have a wonderful balance to them. The wood handles are very comfortable and easy to hold. The size makes them so convenient for frosting cupcakes or smaller "baby cakes". They get right in to the crevasses. They clean up nicely and will last a long time.
