Great shoe storage system

My wife has our bedroom closet just filled with what seems like hundreds of pairs of shoes, and I myself have a couple of pairs there as well. It's time to do some serious cleaning and organization of the closet, and that starts with the shoes. This modular storage system was fairly easy to assemble, and really didn't take too long. They fit a good amount of shoes, and you are able to stack them which is useful depending on the layout of your closet. We might put them side by side, but that will come after the organization begins. Overall, I really like this storage system and will definitely be grabbing some others.

Easy to assemble, took just over an hour from opening the box to being stacked & in place.

Not really what we expected

This is great item if it is what you wanted, but the name of it is deceiving. It's two smaller units that they have sitting on top of each other. It's not really shelving, it's a shoe rack which the box clearly says. I thought I was getting a "book shelf" unit, but the shelves are on a slant with holes inset for the metal "block" to keep the shoes from sliding out. And those aren't really sturdy, not like the rest of the piece. I pulled a pair of pointed toe mini boots out, the toe hit the metal and the post popped out. I don't want to have to glue them in, but also don't want to have keep rebuilding it.

Great shoe racks, easy to assemble

I bought 4 of these racks and it took less than an hour to assemble all 4. Once you learn how to assemble one rack you don't even need the instructions to assemble the rest. They are heavy though and not the easiest to move around. The height of the shelves can accommodate most shoes. Tall boots are the exception. However you could sacrifice some of the shelves if you wanted to fit your tall boots. I placed them in the back of my walk-in closet and it was a great way to make use of the space.
