It’s so tiny a cat won’t fit- one chicken would be crowded!
Ridiculously tiny
Easy to assemble
We have three hens they all go in at night without encouragement it’s very cold here. They seem to love it. . I think 4 laying boxes is a bit much though. Price was good .
Coop Very easily assembled in no time at all. After purchasing, I noticed the run and stand accessories. The standard size run is practically sold out everywhere and the sites that have a few are $400 higher price. Just wondering if it will be back in stock and wish it was a mobile setup with wheels
Snap Lock Formex Chicken Coop, Standard White (Up to 4 Chickens)/Gray Stand & Stairs
This is my 2nd Snap Lock coop, the first one being the larger one. My girls LOVE that coop. We are readying the new one for 3 new pullets arriving in September. The ONLY suggestion I would have for this coop is a slide to close off the nests for sleeping. It’s not a deal breaker though since these coops are a snap to put together (literally) and very easy to clean and maintain. Totally recommend.
I bought this coop elsewhere about 6 months ago before it was available here. I really like it although the number of large sized birds it holds comfortably is, IMO only about 6 as they need about 12" of roosting space. That is if you dont plan on keeping them in all the time as it would be totally bad, No room and no light. It looks like it would leak in spots but actually it does not. I spray it off with a hose. We made a treated wooden frame for inside the base which seemed a bit wimpy and we have it on the ground in a chain link run. We have it where it is pretty shady and the inside stays quite cool even on our 104+F days. No experience in winter yet. It did great during heavy wind when our other elevated small wooden coop blew over in spite of anchoring and was destroyed with 20 mph wind. If you have wind, I don't suggest elevating it very much because it is rather light. Having 4 nesting boxes is a bit overkill so they do come in handy for keeping feed dry.
Great Coop!
It was easy to put together!
Purchased this used from tractor supply.
A great coup so far, Huge windstorm in the northeast today. 12/18/2023. My run caught air Knocking over my cope. I'm happy I had this coop because it ripped the top off of the coop so my chickens could get out. I don't know what what have happened If it wasn't for the fact that the roof could come off. Picked it up, cleaned it out, put it back together. It's snapped back together like nothing happened to it. Now I'm ordering the stand that comes with it. Because my makeshift one did not survive the wind storm today.
Snap Lock Formex Chicken Coop, Standard White (Up to 4 Chickens)/No Accessories
I have two of these and will likely purchase a third. Easy to put together. Easy to clean. The only thing I wish was different: instead of four nesting boxes, I wish there were only two slightly larger ones on one side and extra roosting space and ventilation on the other. My husband made our stands.

I left a review the other day but I forgot to mention, the best part is it’s made in the USA!
Snap Lock Formex Chicken Coop, Standard White (Up to 4 Chickens)/No Accessories
I totally agree w/the positive reviews. We’ve had this coop since last yr & it’s wonderful! We have 3 barred rocks & the girls know this is their sleeping & laying quarters. They free range thru the day or when it’s stormy they’re in the run hubby built for them. It’s very secure & predator proof and when we add to our flock we’ll be getting another one. Super ez to clean w/the slide out tray & thru our unusually long cold winter we insulated further with some moving blankets over the top. The closeable vent has a bit that stays open at the top which didn’t bother them at all. We’re first time chick parents so we’re really happy w/the coop!

Good design, easy to put together.

Good coop. Wish it had a way to keep the nesting box top cover open while I gather eggs or clean out the nesting boxes.
Snap Lock Formex Chicken Coop, Standard White (Up to 4 Chickens)/No Accessories
I purchased the standard formex chicken coop last year. I loved it and so did my chickens. Sturdy construction and easy to clean, it's the only coop I would consider when i purchase another coop.
Formex snap lock standard coop pretty nice.
The Chicken coop we purchased is pretty nice. The pull out floor was a bit bent on the sides when we opened it up, and thus has cause a gap between wall and bottom where debris can fall in, causing a bit extra effort to clean. It doesn't seem to be the end of the world, but is what it is. It sits nicely on 4 cinder blocks thus stand was luckily not needed. While it says it is fit for only 4 chickens, we could easily fit 5-6 in ours. over all, we are happy with our unit. No moisture has gotten in when it rained, and they seemed plenty warm after first cold snap, no problems so far. It was super easy to put together in less than an hour.
Chicken Killer
HUGE ALERT regarding the Formex Snap Lock Coop. It is a literal DEATH TRAP. If the website removes this review, then they are complicit in the killing of more chickens. People need to know about this.
Easy, Easy, Easy!
Super easy to assemble; decent size for 3-4 chickens but I’m using it for ducks, so I’d limit it to 2 ducks, 3 max.
Overpriced
It’s okay. Way overpriced for what it is. I didn’t want to build a coop and I read a lot of bad reviews on pre-made wood models. So I went with this one. It’s quite a bit smaller than anticipated. The way it fits/snaps together is okay. It is fairly easy to clean which was one of my driving motivators in choosing it. If I had to do it over, I should have just built a coop.
Happy Chickens, Happy Chicken Owner
Our SnapLock chicken coop arrived in December (just in time for Christmas) but our run wasn't built until the beginning of February -- one week later, the chickens arrived! We have 3 hens who are loving their new home. It was easy to put together and will be easy to clean. While the small coop says it will hold 4-6 chickens, I have 3 Cinnamon Queens and they take up a lot of the space inside. One more might fit but this helps with keeping 'chicken math' in check LOL! I would definitely recommend this coop for someone starting out, especially if you're only going to have a few chickens.
Easy to assemble. Like the
Easy to assemble. Like the idea of it being weather resistant. Also, like the easy of getting in to the box for eggs or cleaning.
