Do not buy for outdoor use

I have several chicken coops and runs that I have purchased from Amazon and Wayfair that are a 100% better than this pertaining to quality and sustainability. Nothing is meant to last but this is ridiculous. This coop is cute once you build it but the walls are made up of some plastic cardboard which predators can easily break. Due to rain, it caused that plastic cardboard to dent in on the top which allowed exposure which I had to take pieces from an old coop to cover up. Water also gets in to the main nesting area cause an increase in insects and mushy situations which is not good for the eggs. Again had to use other materials to make a temporary solution. For the price of this coop, I would recommend getting a fully wooden coop or if your lucky one made of mostly metal. If your like me and get foxes or other animals visiting your property, do not buy.

Looks

It looks nice and easy to put together. Unfortunately there’s no door for nest box area to close at night. Also no latch to lock nest box roof. Our dogs found it easy to push the roof up.

I never do a review

But this thing is like cardboard. I should have known from the price but I was assuming it was the size and I only need it for one chicken I can’t put with the rest of mine. The walks are seriously plastic cardboard material. I don’t feel like it will be safe at all from predators.

Chicken coop

Horrible instructions, like probably worst I’ve ever seen in my life. Decent materials.

Waaayy too small

Thinking this was going to be able to fit my 3 chickens in and once I put it all together, this was waaayyy to small and it only came with 2 nesting boxes not 3 like the description said.

Not worth it

Who puts the nest boxes above the chickens head? They don’t use them!! Also no way to close them in the coop itself so it stays open to the little run. I have had rats dig in. It’s attached to a bigger run which I block off at night but this is absolutely not worth what they’re asking. My 2 girls barely fit in together I don’t see at all how 4 are supposed to fit

Not Worth it

So not worth it. Feels like cardboard. Animals could easily break in. Wind would blow it over. Tray didn’t even fit in.

Not worth a purchase

Very flimsy the sides on the coop anything could push through hopefully it withstands the wind well enough, it's not deep enough on the inside to do a deep litter method or even for straw I use shaving but cleaning is difficult as the tray doesn't pull out well ( there's not many pre drilled holes to help with placement anywhere on the coop/run), the wire on the run is thin unfortunately the roof on the run dosent open the roof on the coop does allow some water inside somehow, I thought you could close the door to the coop but unfortunately there is no way to do so, using this coop for 2 small birds fully grown is pushing it it's better suited for chicks in a way, the nesting boxes are small but luckily the divider is removable, the nesting box doesn't sit deep enough to make sure no eggs fall out especially with how small it is even with the divider that is easy to happen, the run is fairly small but if set up with the food and water properly you might not have any issues this is definitely not a run that should be used alone. Overall it's a waste of money unfortunately

Don’t waste your $$

This is a cheap flimsy coop. The slightest wind made the roof blow right off and my chickens got out. It’s only big enough for two. It really sucks. Plus it is so unstable. I had to put hardware cloth around it because the pig stuck his nose through the cheap screens. Buy a different one for more money that will be more stable. This one is a waste.

It’s very lightweight. Instructions aren’t great. I wouldn’t use this for chickens. I have 5 quail in it. So far no water leaks.

I don’t know this website so I thought it was some scam. But came in exactly how it pictured. For the price it’s good. Measured so I knew how the size would look but my husband thought it would be a lot bigger. The grey walls are like a plastic cardboard or something , i thought it would be wood. So we will add plywood to the grey walls to make it last long and will just add a chicken run to make its bigger. But overall happy with it. I assembled it with my two toddler boys so it’s pretty simple.

Manufacturing included a broken end of run piece as new in the box which the worker attempted a poor repair by tacking on a plastic strap (see pictures). Clearly no quality control in manufacturing. Workers send shoddy repaired part to customer who paid for a well built coop. End of run part needs to be replaced at supplier’s cost!

This product was not what I expected. It did...

This product was not what I expected. It did not withstand a 20 MPH wind. The lid was blown off immediately, and screws did not hold it together. Many broken pieces, and hinge broke off. Will not buy this product again.

This coop is easy to assemble and was shipped so quickly, it arrived at my house just 24 hours after I ordered. The wood isn't super thick but it's a perfect run for my quail. Very impressed with the service from aosom

Fast and easy to assemble. Less than 2 hours.

This is not going to be a coop to be permanently outside. It was not high quality. However, it is perfect for a brooder or hospital coop which was our plan. The outside run is not secure. Therefore, we put our coop on an old board and added wheels. This allows it to be mobile and make it easier to clean. The nesting boxes inside are very very flimsy. It does have a pull out pan for the roost area. For the price, I think it is worth the money. You will need a drill for holes because it’s missing in several place as well as a regular power screw driver. Those were the only tools we used. I love the lifting lid which will help with egg collection. There are several little doors and plenty of ventilation. The coop panels are pre assembled. You just need to hook it all together. I gave it 4 stars because it is NOT a secure coop. You have to add something more to make it predator proof

FLIMSY AND THIN DO NOT BUY

Yes it's cute. But Anything could break through these chicken coops. Do yourself a favor and save up for a shed or a big wooden one for double and save yourself the hassle. I blame myself for thinking a chicken coop for less than 500 could be reliable.
