Love this water filter jug. Nice wooden handle. Great quality. Love the design.

Love it. Good looking and we use it all day everyday. A bit heavy if anyone has arthritis or not strong. So not for little kids to use.

Defective spout and filter cover

I've had this water filter pitcher for only a couple weeks. The plastic spout piece keeps popping off and is difficult to pop back in. The cover for the filtration area is also malfunctioning. It's supposed to open when water is being added to the pitcher, and close afterwards. It often doesn't open when adding water which causes water to spill over the sides of the pitcher. When it does open it often doesn't close afterwards leaving the cover open.

Good water filter

Very happy with this water filter jug. Filtering water is quick. I prefer room temperature water so sits on the bench, it on the larger side and doesn’t fit in the door of the fridge

I love the water jug, but purchasing the filters is a mammoth task as they have to be brought from other dealers, or from overseas which costs are enormous, so not value for money...

2.5 years of use

We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Therefore, I have been using this for 2.5 years. In this time, I have never poured water without pouring it all over the counter, floor, and myself. The actual water through this filter is delicious. Very crisp. A great accompaniment to this item woukd be $800 worth of other towels or some beautiful C&B hand towels. Get plenty of towels and stay hydrated.

Slow pouring

Looks beautiful but when pouring the water chugs out doesn’t stream out smoothly so takes so long to even fill a cup of water!

We have well water w/ a water softener system. The filter takes away almost all the weird taste, yay!

Worth it!

I randomly walked into my local C&B and say this only sale and had to grab it. Was concerned with the wooded handled but it’s super sturdy.

Good water filtration pitcher

The filter is super easy to use. It is a bit large when you store it in the fridge but it’s a very good looking container with modern appeal. So far it seems sturdy but, at least for our family, we have to fill it multiple times a day.

Looks as good as it performs.

Aesthetically pleasing and functionally perfect. I can tell the filtration is working, as the water tastes better and I feel safe using it for my pets. Not to mention, my plants prefer this water over straight from the tap.

Looks beautiful on my counter! There is never a problem of water falling out excessively when pouring. Good, clean, taste. Extremely happy with this purchase!

PLASTIC, and bulky

It's all plastic. Based on other Soma products, I thought it was glass. The description doesn't say it's plastic or glass, just mentions sugarcane-based materials (I figured the white part was plastic). I knew it didn't filter out much, but it was for camping/road trips and a backup for our good filter.

Elegant filter, but maybe form over function

This water filter is a nice minimalist design which goes well with my home. I like that the bottom is more robust than glass and it has a good capacity. The only thing which annoys me is the water pourer lid, it’s a bit finicky to open when pouring and it can be quite slow to fill something else. Other than that I’m happy, it is certainly much nicer looking than most water filters.

Very stylish - takes a lot of space in the fridge but it's worth it.

Great buy and very long lasting!

I've purchased this twice now from Crate and Barrel because I LOVE it. It's affordable, I definitely notice the improved quality of my water, and I love that the filters consist largely of plant-based minerals for filtration, which is the biggest reason I chose Soma. The only reason I had to re-purchase the water filter was because I had my first for almost 2 years and over-filling tends to weaken the handle attachment to the base of the filter, so the handle did detach. Just be mindful of how much water you're weighing down your pitcher with. Otherwise, I love it and I'll continue to purchase!

Beautiful design but man it does not pour well...

I want to like this pitcher so badly. It's the most handsome filter pitcher out there. However, it spills all over itself every time you pour out of it. I end up with water all over the counter pretty much constantly.

Don't order, replacement filters aren't available. Have watch, as it gets moldy around the rim and in the filter.

This water pitcher is so beautiful. I love keeping it on my kitchen counter. It also filters very quickly, and the spring hatch in the lid makes the water pourable before it finishes filtering. Brilliant design. Thank you!
