Easy to assemble and works better than expected.
Not easy to mount, poor instructions.
Easy to install. \"Solar\" and \"Heated\" are overstatements.
This shower was fairly easy to install. I had to purchase additional hoses and connectors to get the job done but that makes some sense because each person\'s setup may be a bit different. Still, it would have been nice if it included a connection to an ordinary garden hose so you can test it right out of the box. One thing to consider is having a level surface where you intend to install it. I did not. So, I had to get creative and purchased some longer anchors that would accommodate a nut and washer underneath the base as well as a set on top. This allowed me to level tower so it\'s not leaning once installed. As for the \"solar\" and \"heated\" -- you have to take that with a grain of salt. It\'s just the sun beating on the plastic that would allow the water to warm up. No actual \"solar\" or other \"heating\" going on. Overall, it\'s easy to use, looks decent and should work well for my kids to rinse off when they come out of the pool. The shower head and materials are plastic and pretty flimsy so I can\'t say how long it will last.
Works perfectly looks awesome
My wife is very happy with this purchase. It looks far more expensive than it cost
[Rewarded Review] looks great to me
Husband found one he liked better
Difficult to install
This product cannot stand freely. It needs to be secured. As for function ability it is on point.
This is a Good One
This is my third try at having an outdoor solar shower. I forget the brand of the first one, but I sent it back since it broke while I was putting it together. The company was hard to deal with so I ordered from a different brand, Anself, and while it wasn\'t perfect, it was good enough and it lasted many years before suddenly cracking open. I\'m not sure why I ordered the GoPlus. I think it had good reviews and was available immediately. All the showers are pretty much identical, so I didn\'t expect it to be any better but to my surprise, it is WAY better.First of all, it is easy to put together. Both previous showers leaked from everywhere at first, and this one had no leaks on first try. Another improvement is that my previous shower continued to flow after I shut it off. The water kept running for about 30 seconds. It was so wasteful that I started turning off the water before I was finished rinsing off because I knew there would still be plenty coming. But the best thing about this shower is how quickly the water gets really hot. Admittedly, I live in a place with lots of sun but my last shower didn\'t really get hot with just sun. If the day was sunny but not hot, the water barely heated up. The GoPlus started heating immediately and I had all the hot water I needed. Also, the water stays hot for a while after the sun goes down. The only reason I withheld a star is that, like the other showers, the hose attachment is flawed. Since I finally made it work with my old shower by cutting off the end of the hose and using a hose clamp (see photo), I decided to keep that setup, but I had a bit of trouble getting the tightening nut tight enough to stop all leaking since it\'s a bit awkward to get a wrench around it, and hand tightening is not enough. I was able to do it though and not a drop is leaking. It\'s only been a week, and if it doesn\'t last, I\'ll come back and revise, but so far I\'m really happy with my purchase.
EDIT - NICE WHILE IT LASTED
I have amended my review from one start to four because the company did try to resolve our issue:We installed this shower unit outside by our pool and used it for about a month, maybe a little more. It worked great! Huge amount of water storage, good pressure and plenty of warm/hot water, until the cap popped off the top causing water to pour out of the top of the water cylinder rather than through the shower head. The cap could not be re-affixed because the cap was damaged. It appears that the glue used to affix it was not applied all the way around the water cylinder. I contacted the company and asked if they could send us a new cap and they advised that they did not have the cap in stock. After a few days of back and forth emailing, they offered a credit of $60 to cover expenses in having someone fix it for us. We\'d be able to fix it ourselves, if we had a new cap. While the cap didn\'t work out for us and we\'ll have to purchase a new unit, the company did respond after a few days and they did try to make it right. Now we have a $60 credit to put toward the purchase of a new outdoor shower.
Great
Great product easy to assemble. Solar heat works well. You need to drill hole on concrete. It\'s stable and sturdy. Looks nice.
Great solar shower, durable and without leaks
Excellent solar shower, the first I have owned without any leaking issues, and I have owned four now. I do live in a particularly warm climate, so for about six months out of the year, the shower provides hot water very reliably. The ability to control temperature is important because the water would otherwise be too hot during the summer where I live. If you don’t get weather that reaches about 80°F with a good bit of sun, you may not have enough warmth for comfortable showers. The build quality is the best I have seen thus far, and the price was the lowest of the four I have owned.
A great find.
I had built a small deck outside for an outdoor shower that I planned to plumb myself. I saw this online and decided it looked like a good option. It was easy to install, bolted to the deck, and works like a charm. Now I don't have to walk my dirty self through the house after working in the garden and yard - I just shower outside and walk in nice and clean in my bathrobe. I'm delighted with it so far.
Great outdoor shower
This is a great outdoor solar shower. Holds enough hot water to shower about 4 people quickly. I do have to say it has to be significantly warm outside if you want it to be a HOT shower, if you are okay with warm showers this works great even in 75-80 degree weather. It was easy to install and connect to the water hose. The shower works by storing water in the tube and holds it there even if the hose is not connected. You do need to reconnect the hose in order for it to work and get the shower running. It has great pressure and you can honestly install it anywhere. Overall, I recommend this product. Would buy it again.
Nice But !
Cons you have to have a hose connected at all times. It gives you the vision of filing it with 10 gallons and using that before you need to refill. NOT the case.2nd is you need 3/8TH BY 2.5 bolts. The bolts they give you suck.So now we have to figure out how to get a house connected as we wanted to use this by our area we\'re people exit the pool but the house hose is way on the other side.
I love it
Easy install, works great, zero leaks if installed correctly. Tough to get it in a spot in the sun so that it\'s warm, but it\'s definitely not cold.
Great freestanding shower!
I love this outdoor shower! It\'s standing well, it\'s stable. It gives me warm water on hot days. It was more stressful than I thought. It is very easy to install and connect, there are no leaks and the experience is very enjoyable! So I\'m satisfied.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT
The best addition to any pool application, I highly recommend this.
Easy assembly
Great outdoor shower! Perfect option for my outdoor pool deck without breaking the bank. The shower has been working great. No leaks. Pleasantly surprised how warm the water gets after a few hours of sun. The shower was very easy to assemble. Definitely recommend Teflon on all threaded parts and DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN FAUCETS!Would definitely recommend. Great purchase. Seems like it will last for quite a while. Lizard approved.
