Fantastic purchase

This bread maker is fantastic. It is easy to use. Comes with a small cook book to get you started. The options of different size loaves is awesome. If you make the 2 pound loves get a big knife to cut it. Our regular bread knife was too small.

Great bread maker

Fresh loaf every second day

Unreliable. Stopped working within 10 uses.

Purchased as a gift for my wife and it worked great the first few times. But after less than 10 uses, the internal thermometer has failed. Now it won't even turn on, the machine just shows an "H" error that the machine is too hot. The user manual has no solutions for this problem and Breville's customer service has been unhelpful to date.

Reliability issues - won’t start due to “--H” error

Device fails with a “--H” error because the “baking chamber is too warm” even when it’s room temperature. Appears to be due to a $4.99 sensor which is listed as obsolete, turning the expensive appliance to trash. I have a kitchen full of Breville gear, but this is a real let-down.

Not so wonderful any longer

I've had this bread maker for almost two years and it's been wonderful until the last two times I've tried to bake a rye bread. It stops after rising and won't bake. I tried, unsuccessfully, to get some help from Breville. I will try again for some help, but, in the meantime, I'm baking the dough in my oven. I don't want to completely abandon the bread maker, but if it doesn't work, what's the point in having it? As I said, it's been wonderful until now.

Excellent and Good Packs

Purchased this wonderful bread maker about 6 wk ago and just love it. I bake about 2-3 times aweek and no failures so far however be warned thr 4-5 cup flour recipes are huge, definately family size, even with whole wheat flour. I never use the vital gluten as our Canadian wheat is great and gives good rise always. The only door stop loaf so far was the recipe in the book containing cinnamon which kills yeast apparently

Great Bread Maker

I bought this bread maker a few months ago. Bake 2 X 500g loaves a week and they all turn out great except one and that was my fault. Forgot the yeast. My only compaint is the fruit and nut dispenser stopped working. I contacted Breville via the support page, received an automatic response to my query and haven't heard from them since. I logged in and discovered the case was opened and closed but with no communication with me whatsoever. Now that is what I call great customer support. Not

J'étais déjà conquis par Breville m'étant procuré au fil des années quelques appareils de cette compagnie. Une vrai petite merveille de qualité et facile d'opération et de nettoyage.

Early results

It's too early really, but you are asking for feedback. So far I have made two loaves, using commercial bread mixes. Both have been slightly underdone and I will see how this can be modified.

Scratched and thermostat quit working within 6 months

I love this Machine

I’m not a chef or baker and you would never know it when you see what I can make with this Bread Machine! It’s so easy and my bread comes out perfect! I only messed up two loafs because I starred thinking I was magically a baker—and I started winging it with random ingredients—so it quickly reminded me that it had its limits.
