The water drinking area is shallow therefore my dog was apprehensive in using it.

What a good idea! Cats love running water and this does the trick. It's quiet, doesn't require cleaning every day, and my cat gets to drink the water he needs.

We like it. One exception- you cannot read the water level without lifting up the top (which is a bit tricky).
A good, basic pet fountain
This pet fountain is quiet and easy to assemble and maintain. I love that you can adjust the water spout speed. It's easy to order replacement filters and the stainless steel pieces are dishwasher safe! Some scale has built up on the top, but I don't think it causes any harm (it's just unsightly and plastic fountains have the same problem).

I liked the size. It was very quiet. The motor dies quickly.
Great while it lasted
Had the product 1 month and the motor went out on it. Pretty sure if you leave it plugged in to long then it goes out. It was amazing while it lasted but it didn’t last very long.

Impossible to clean, signs of rust
The quality of the metal is lacking. Regular use by two cats, occasional use by a dog, and the fountain lid is caked in residue that cannot be scrubbed away.

Steel water bowl
It was nice but it broke less than 2 weeks of me having it. Not sure what happened but it kinda sucks it broke early with the price it was.
