Allowing the selection of the type of bread & the mechanically lowering the bread is great. Unfortunately, the bread comes out a nice & even golden brown but the other side comes out an uneven light (almost white) to brown which is why I replaced my 3 year old Cuisinart. Uneven browning.

This toaster replaced a 25 year old Cuisinart toaster. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t toast evenly. No matter which setting it’s impossible to get an even toast.

Very Accurate

This toaster looks great and is very accurate. You set it for English Muffins and a 4 darkness and it does it every time.

It’s the worst toaster ever. Especially for the price I paid. Toasts one side ok and totally burns the other side of bread. Tried to adjust the settings and still burns one side of bread.

Really disappointed

I was delighted to receive my new toaster after all I had a Cuisinart toaster for 15 years and a Cusinart Food Processors for 43 years. The toaster worked great for two weeks and then it decided to not toast every time. One time, I had to try four times to eventually get one side toasted. Sorry but I had to return to Amazon. It was the most expensive and the highest rated in Consumer Reports.

This was a purchase based on the brand . My last cuisinart lasted 25 years and was still working when I decided to get a smaller one. Love the features.
