Made of heavy stainless steel with a unique, appealing design. There was one manufacturing error. One of the black rectangular pads attached to the side of the sink was attached to the side of the shipping container. The mounting clips are difficult to attach to the rails and require a deep socket in limited spaces. The sink was bowed on one of the short ends and required the use of three clamps near the center point to pull it out and seal the rim. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase.
Nice replacement sink
Very attractive and worked well as a dropin replacement for stained counter integrated solid surface sink. Would be nice if at least large sink side basin rack was included instead of cutting board accessory.
Love it
I installed in 2007 & loved it. My Mom had one installed in her house in 2012 & loves it. I’ve moved & getting ready to replace current SS sink (14 yrs old & very scratched with shallow bowls). I love the shape of the deep bowls & the cutting board is handy.
Love the Kohler Staccato
Love this sink. The 60 side fits a full size skillet and handle. When sinks are getting bigger, I appreciate the 40 split to conserve water, thaw a pound of packaged frozen bacon, and have two stations for work. It is a beautiful sink.

Only had the sink for a week and a half and already there are little rust spots on bottom of sink. I ordered online so I didn’t know there were circular groves in the sink. It’s not a smooth surface. The water spots show really bad. I am probably returning it. It’s very frustrating because I like the shape and the depth, but rusting never happened in my old sink that I had for many years and this one is already getting rust right at the start! Very poor quality! I expected more!
Measure check twice no room for error
We had a Corian sink that was moulded into the countertop that had faded and stained. I had installed many Elkay and Kohler stainless steel kitchen sinks in the past being a retired plumber. Upon opening the box I noticed the “ new” mounting clamps that other reviews mentioned. The biggest challenge was the very small margin of error when cutting the hole in the existing countertop. Measure twice cut once. The clamps were difficult to put in the rim to secure to the sink the clamp nut and washer are very small in tight locations. I plus have preferred the older channel designs in older sinks, overall when done it came out nice.
Great sink, clips suck
It’s a beautiful sink; however, if you’re installing it yourself, beware that the type of sink clips it uses are AWFUL. Most instructional videos you can find on replacing kitchen sinks show J channel or U channel clips and these are not like those. Those clips are attached with screws that seem way easier to install. The clips for this sink are attached with nuts that require a deep socket wrench and are very difficult to tighten in a tight space, such as under your kitchen sink. It ended up taking us more than half the time we spent installing, just dealing with the clips. Happy with how it turned out. If you’re paying for installation, you’ll be very pleased with this product. If your installing it yourself, maybe think twice or be prepared for some frustration.
DO NOT BUY THIS KOHLER SINK!!!
I am a single elderly lady who keeps a very tidy home and I baby my things. But after just one month of very gentle use this new sink is already marred, scratched and pitted. If you simply set something in it, it scratches it. I have never sceen any thing like this! Now I will have to hire an installer to remove this sink and reinstall my faucet on a new one. After this terrible expierence I will NEVER buy another Kohler priduct again!!!
Really nice finish on this sink
I’ve had a few stainless sinks over the years and the finish on this one is much nicer than most. The bowls of the sinks have a slight brushed look, but they’re still very shiny. The lip (overhang) of the sink has a much more coarse, brushed finish. Not just satin finish, but actual grooves (see photos) and is less shiny. I wasn’t sure at first if I liked the texture, but it’s grown on me quickly. Had a plumber install, and he was impressed with the weight and solid feel of the sink. The curved bowls give me just a little extra space for pan handles. Plumber had a lot of trouble installing the clips, but I think that was more an issue with the existing cutout. Just installed a week ago, so I can’t comment on durability, but so far so good.
Great sizing and beautiful lines!
I’ve had this Sink for 15 years! I still love it! The large side is big and deep to clean pans and large pots without cramming! The smaller side...which is just as deep) we use (with the custom made metal insert you can but here for it) to dry cups and items that aren’t “directly”, but aren’t clean either! We also use it to set things to dry. We put our garbage disposal on the large side and use it primarily.
[Rewarded Review] DOES NOT COME WITH ACCESSORY HOLE!
I bought this sink as I wanted to have the single hole faucet option and also the right hand side accessory hole which it states quite clearly in the description and the main photo that is has. However there is no accessory hole which makes this sink useless for my needs. The whole point in having a website that sells things is to describe the items accurately as of course the buyer isn't able to look at the actual item in person. They do not sell this sink in my 3 nearest stores and I ordered based on the description and the photo of the item. I'm not sure what the major malfunction is quite honestly. It is NOT difficult to type in the correct information. Now I have to take the sink back - Lowes won't be paying for my 1 hour round trip for that, or my fuel, and I have to try and find another sink that actually has the options I need of which nowhere sells the spec I want in store. Added to that I can't install the sink in the timeframe I needed to. So that is a job I have to put off. Very inconvenient. I am a very busy person and my time has been wasted which I do not appreciate.

The Kohler sink is awesome, But I would expect nothing less from Kohler. I ordered online thru HD, and it came to the store early and in great packing shape. I opened the Open box and sink was covered with a heavy film of plastic for added protection,I liked that. Installation was a breeze with no hiccup's. Being in construction and remodeling for 40+ yrs Iv'e installed many kitchen sinks. Even so for the layman this is spelled out with good directions that are easy to understand. Would definitely recommend and would recommend ordering thru HD online service, very convenient.
[Rewarded Review] Beautiful Sink
Much to our surprise, we ordered this sink online on a Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered the next day on Wednesday instead of the following Saturday as indicated in the order.

Looks great and well built. Easy to install. Lots of accessories you can order! However, the first sink we ordered that had a bent corner that was not noticeable until it was dry fitted. It was unusable and was returned. (Return process was easy) Ordered a second. It was not bent but had several dings and dents. Looks like poor Mfg quality control. Home Depot stands behind the products they carry and made things right.

Great looking sink. Center drains make plumbing under the sink easy. This sink is strong, made of 18 gauge stainless steel. It is also quiet because of the acoustic padding. My wife loves it. Installation was easy. Some other reviews stated that the clips to hold the sink down fell off or were hard to get to. The clips I received were very well designed. I installed them while the sink was still outside of the counter. They did NOT fall off. Once the sink was in place the clips were easily turned and tightened up with a deep well socket. The Kohler duostrainer drains in vibrant stainless goes very well with the sink. Thank you Kohler!

Very nice sink. The flat edges and contoured basins really add to the kitchen. I tore out the existing sink and counter tops. Home Depot's contractor installed new laminate counters and then I installed the Staccato sink. WHAT A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE! Kohler redesigned the retaining clips, but forgot to update the instructions. Step 5 cannot be done. After two days of calling Kohler support and getting the "we are experiencing a large call volume" and then the call would disconnect, I finally got through on the third day. The two support people were very pleasant, but completely clueless about the change in the clips. I was concerned about damaging the sink rim by installing the clips the way it looked like they should go. I used a pair of Channel Locks with one jaw protected to squeeze the clips in place. I was only able to tightening the nuts by using an 8mm box end wrench that was 4" long. Anything else would have been too long. On some of the 12 clips I could rotate the nut about 5 degrees and then have to reposition the wrench. Kohler should provide a tool such as a 10" long hex tube. It would add almost nothing to the cost and make installation easy.
Great purchase!
Due to water damage we had to replace our counter and sink.
Expected More From a Kohler Product
Purchased on design, gauge of stainless, depth of bowls and of course Kohler name. So, from the beginning: sink rims are warped from the edge rolling process (factory), this is normal in sheet metal working, but then the fixture is normally re-straightened / flattened. On pre-fit, corners rested on counter surface, but mid span rims are raised 1/8 to 3/16, not good, mounting clamps will never pull this down, what happened to factory quality control?
Very disapointed
A $300 dollar kitchen sink should not get scratched with normal use. The sink looked fine when it was installed. I thought I had made a good purchase. My first use was washing my dogs drinking bowl and with nothing protecting the bottom of the sink, I put two nice scratches in it. I didn't see any warnings that with normal use this sink would become scratched. Obviously, I was unable to remove the scratches. Now, I have a rubber mat in the bottom of the sink, but that only protects the bottom. I assume if I hit the sides with a pan I will scratch the sides. I have since added a basket to help protect the sides. It is fortunate that there are only two adults living here and two adults using the sink. I can imagine over time, even with careful use, in the end it will be a scarred up sink. With the protection that I have added, I have to use a lot more cleaning. I have to rinse the basket, wash the rubber mat and wash the sink. A better sink would have me just rinsing the sink and dumping the basket. Very poor kitchen sink. I would have been happy to pay twice the price for a quality sink. I thought $300 was high enough.
Perfect Upgrade
We had a heavy Kohler Hartland sink for 13 years, put it in when we built our house, but over the years it had gotten a few chips and the faucet we had with it - Delta Venetian Bronze farmhouse faucet - had not worn well with the hard water from our well so it was time to upgrade. We purchased this sink because its measurements were almost exactly the same as the Hartland and since we have granite countertops making adjustments to them to fit a new sink wasn't an option. It fit perfectly and is so beautiful - not to mention the fact the Hartland we took out weight 130 lbs!!! OUCH!! and this Staccato weighed 22 - no more porcelain for us.
