This is the absolute worst excuse for a waffle maker I have ever used. It WILL NOT evenly heat no matter what temperature you cook at. The plates will not align properly and you will get scorching around the edges before the middle cooks…. Look elsewhere….

I would highly recommend.

Working very well for making our homemade waffle cones for our ice cream shoppe. This one seems like it is pretty durable and should last quite awhile.

Awful waffle

The machine took some getting used to and that was frustrating but understandable.

Very happy with the ALD and the GR-600

ALD responded the next business day to questions about this unit vs. the ALD-600 (apparently it's a difference in the quality of materials). The unit is very attractive in person and matches stainless commercial-style appliances. It comes assembled except for the handle, which screws right in. The cone roller is included. It heats fast and cooks evenly. The nonstick coating does its job with minimal oil. We spent some time dialing in the temp and time. It was relatively easy to clean when we were done.
