I've been looking for a fast compost solution for kitchen scraps for some time. This machine basically dries, cooks, and chops the scraps. I can toss it right into my garden.

[Rewarded Review] Fun to use overnight composter

I keep the bucket out on the counter as my compost bucket and cover it with a reusable silicone cover. I keep the large unit in a cabinet until I need (a couple times a week). I like the way I can turn it on overnight, dump the contents into a bucket to then add to my garden later, and then put the larger unit away. I would not like this unit if I didn’t have the space to keep the unit stored away as it is large to keep on the counter. It is a good looking unit though.

Died After Three Uses

I couldn't tell you how well the compost turned out since I didn't even get one bucket full before the motor just died and I had to return it. I was looking forward to using this a lot, too.

Works well. Food comes out as dried pre compost you can store away without worry. Bucket is really small so don't expect to use it on family meals. Really a one person deal. But it's good. Need to buy new filters every so often apparently but that's nothing too major and maybe it can be modded to use cheaper filters. So def check this out.

This countertop composter works well. It breaks everything up into a little fine piles of organic matter, and what is left, goes directly into our garden. This compost is very easy to use and I actually use mine every other day and discard very little scraps into our trash..

The IDOO Electric Kitchen Waste Composter does exactly what it says it does. It runs quite a long time but you end up with compost you can put right in the garden. So far so good.

It’s not Oder free. And apparently mine doesn’t seal properly because the gnats get into it and loaded it with maggots after only one day of putting garbage into it. This happened every single day during the summer. Horrible. Either the one I got had a bad seal or that’s just the way it works. It does a good job of turning the waste and maggots to dirt. But the fact that gnats get into it must mean it doesn’t seal properly??

This worked like 20 times and than door can not be locked and it doesnt work. Not worth the money.
