Napoleon Prestige 665 RSIB an almost perfect purchase
One of the best purchases I've made. My only complaint is is came delivered pre assembled
Perfect!
Don't even know where to start, but let's go with unpacking. The grill arrived on a skid and packaged perfectly, meaning that it was secure, packed in a very sturdy cardboard container, padded well internally and not at all difficult to uncrate. Note: you really need two people for this assembly. I suggest that you do this somewhere that has room to lay the parts out so they are easy to identify and get to. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was of the finest quality and fit perfectly - everything worked as it should and nothing needed to be forced. Of course, read the instructions at least once and preferably twice and pay attention which steps are for which model grill.
Prestige 665 RSIB - So Far So Good
Have had this grill for a little over a year now - decided to spend the $ on a Napoleon instead of a cheaper brand.
Really disappointed with build quality
Don’t believe the reviews. I wish i went with a Weber. There are so many areas as that are subpar and lacking quality. Lets start with the frame. Well, there isn’t one. Instead the have stamped panels that slide in and lock by tapping with a hammer. The instructions are horrendous and parts are not labeled that great. The instructions are all visual with no label parts or screws. The instructions cover 3 or 4 models with slight variations depending on the model. Really had to figure out where screws and slots line up when the illustration is a little 3x4 inch diagram. The side shelve and burners were the bigger issue and are really cheaply engineered and implemented. The top is stainless with a poor quality and several blemishes right out of the box. The burners seem to be a better quality than the weber with the included infrared burners. I’m really down on this grill just from the poor install experience which took 3-4 hours with breaks to regain my patience and complete the build process. Time will tell but Im not thrilled this far.
