First off gril looks sleek, with clearview window on the lid, gets up to temperature quickly, fast ignition and stainless steel look.

Monument customer service is the worse customer service I ever had

Here is my latest email to customer service and warranty department as part of my review for others.

Very Pleased

Well built, moderately easy to assemble, did it myself in about an hour and a half. We have used it about 6 times. Very even cooking surface, I have not experienced any cold spots. Easy to clean. Cooked for 50 people on the 4th of July, the large cooking surface saved me from working the grill all day. I did experience some falre ups when cooking burgers, nothing major. The same size Weber Grill was out of our price range, could have leased a small car instead. For the money this grill was a perfect choice. From what I see so far, this grill will last many years if taken care of.

opportunities for improvement

Disappointed opportunites for improvement: 1.Unpacking revealed dents in side burner and crackes in cast aluminum lid. Timely replacement parts received. 2. After 1st rain multiple areas of rust in black firebox inside and out, mainly showing on seams, apparent quality control issues with coating on black firebox. 3. After rain water gets inside firebox filling grease trap tray with water. Appears to be multiple engineering design flaws, especially at back of lid lacking proper flashing and water runoff. 4.Thermometer filled with moisture after 1st rain. Owned 2 weeks

Underwhelmed and Disappointed

2 large boxes arrived in good condition. While putting it together notice a lot of the black finish on the top portion was damaged and the finish had flaked off. I also never received my cover; so after building my new grill I had nothing to protect it from the rain. I wouldn’t have been so frustrated if 1. I was told the cover was on back order (then I would have waited to build it) and 2. I was told the pictures I sent of the damage where not on a product they make. This makes absolutely no sense to me.

Beautiful easy to assemble Grilling Beast

Grill shipping box arrived in good condition, no damage to contents. Assembly directions of the Mesa was very simple and this med size grill was easy for 1 person to complete assembly. After washing the grates and heat spreaders and seasoning the grates, it was observed that this grill heats up FAST which means less wasted LPG and time. Test cooked sausages and hand-formed thick burgers (burgers for med-rare) with great results. Once the pizza stone arrived a week later I had to make a pizza as the grill can get up to 600+ deg! Top of the Pizza turned out great, cooked in 6 min! But because I am new at using a pizza peel I did not rotate the pizza and the crust was burnt in a couple places. Looks like once up to desired temp, I need to reduce flame under the pizza stone keeping the other burners high.

Good value for the price

We bought this grill directly from the Monument website. That process was fairly smooth and the grill was delivered within the window of time provided. It takes quite a bit to assemble. Recommend two people; it took my wife and I three hours. We've had it for a few weeks and it works very well. I am concerned about it's durability (as this was something flagged as an issue in other past reviews). So at this point we're quite pleased with the performance but it remains to be seen how long it lasts.

Great grill. Reasonable price. I'm pretty happy.

I am happy with the quality of the grill. It had all the features I was looking for - stainless grates, stainless steel lid, stainless burners. Consumer Reports rates Monument Grills as having excellent reliability and customer satisfaction, so I am hoping that outweighs the mediocre warranty (8yr on burners, but only 1yr on anything else). All in all, I would have had to pay much more with any other brand to get all the features I wanted. It took me 4hrs to put it together, but I was taking my time. All the parts were there. Nothing damaged or missing. The instructions were mostly just fine. Honestly, the only thing that could have significantly helped was if the multitude of boxes were labeled such that the instructions could tell me "part A out of box 5". As it was, I had to go digging for the parts. Not that big of a deal.

I had made purchase for this grill but also included the cast iron cooking plate that as a matter of fact does not fit on this grill. Not sure why it would be a suggested buy when in fact it is not applicable to this model.

Missing part

Received the grill in good shape and was put together for me by Lowe’s. Bought the natural gas conversion kit and installed it. All went well burners work well. Only problem is the side burner was supposed to come with a natural gas orifice to be installed only if converting to natural gas. The orifice was not included and can’t compete the transformation until I receive the part. Called Lowes to send me the part. If they do the right thing and get it for me I will be very pleased. If not I’ll have to use it the way it is but it will not work the way it should.

Terrible Service from Lowe's

The product wasn't the issue. Lowe's hires a 3rd party assembler for the grill. They improperly assembled the grill and stripped the screw that holds the side sear burner in place. Lowe's didn't inspect the grill before delivering it and I found the issue immediately upon getting the grill delivered. Lowe's asked me to fix the problem myself. Then after it couldn't be repaired on my own without completely disassemling the grill, Lowe's picked it up to repair it. Only they didn't repair it. They just refunded me without communicating anything to me about the issue. Now they refuse to even respond and find a solution to the issue. All of this happened at the Lowe's on Sunset Blvd. in Lexington, SC.

Good but not great.

Grill is nice but I think they use cheap material. I know most grills and grill parts come from China and this is no exception. It’s stainless steel coated (thin layer), which means eventually it will rust once the thin coating starts to wear down. You get what you pay for since it has a lot of features like grills costing 3 times the price but you sacrifice the quality construction. This is what I expected before I bought it and I can’t afford the better quality grills so I went with this. That’s why I gave it 4 stars.

Great Grill

Purchased the Denali 605 around three months ago and have used many, many times. It's perfect for our family of seven. I was concerned that the open back would prevent it from getting very hot but that's not the case at all. It looks great and works great! We did have an issue with one burner not working when I first set it up so I called in to customer support and the guy on the phone diagnosed and helped me fix it in about 15 minutes. They even sent me accessories for my troubles even though I didn't ask for anything. I highly recommend this grill and Monument Grills in general!

For those who don't read past the first sentence of a review, I'll sum it up here, great grill, highly recommend. Now if you'll allow me to go into some detail. The grill was shipped to me via FedEx in two rather large cartons, weighing approximately 80 lbs. each. I was able to get a good friend to help me pick up the shipment and assemble the grill on a very cold January day. How do I know he's a good friend? He helped me to assemble a BBQ grill in 10-degree weather.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing grill, Smoker, and Pizza oven

It came in two boxes and the set up took a little over 1 hour with my daughter’s help. This grill is amazing. I love the wifi option. I love that it can maintain a set temperature without having to monitor it.

I needed a bigger grill for my family and parties. My choice was Monument Denali 6-Burner grill which has a big cooking area, and side sear burner which is convenient for outside cooking. The assembly was easy with the provided manual and I just used a Phillips screwdriver for it.

This is definitely my "favorite-est" (I know that's not a real word) grill that I have ever owned. It is packed with so many amazing features - 6 burners, 2 temp probes for tracking the temps of things you are cooking, plus another digital temp gauge showing the ambient temp within the grill, bluetooth connectivity to monitor all of those temps, a "sear" burner for the side burner (perfect for searing that steak), LED backlit knobs, a multi-function warming rack that you can use for holding your jalapeno poppers and other appetizers, and a nice viewing window to monitor the cooking process without opening the lid and losing heat.

[Rewarded Review] An Excellent Intro To Grilling

As someone brand new to gas grills, I feel that I was spoiled by having this be my first time. This is the more affordable alternative to the Denali 605, having the same expansive view lid, digital thermometer with two meat thermometers included, and color changing LED knobs. The main differnces that I can tell are that this unit has a side searer instead of an additional burner, the main grates are stainless steel instead of cast iron, and this one utilizes infrared tech on the burner covers. The best thing from the start is that this is all Tetris expertly packed into one box. The assembly instructions are extensive but as a first timer I had to research further to make sure I was attaching certain parts correctly as the images were a bit lacking. Once assembled started the burners is a breeze. During the initial burnoff I noticed that the temp gets hot fast, which is great for preheating time. My first grillables were a pair of salmon and the included meat thermometers helped me keep track and grill this to perfection. There was little sticking to the stainless steel grates. I look forward to experimenting with the app and seeing how the alert system works for setting internal temps. All in all, for my first grill, I'm very pleased and also feel confident in using it more.

Mediocre grill, horrible company to deal with

Cast iron grate was broken on arrival. Monument advised me to fill out a warranty repair request. But this was damaged during shipping. Jose told me that I did need to do a warranty repair request, and then I could see about getting a replacement. I told Jose that typically warranty repairs were for items in my possession that were damaged during the warranty period and covered. Jose asked, is the item in your possession sir? AND there's a 20% restocking fee if I go this route. AVOID MONUMENT!
