Very large tea kettle. Works well.

Wow, compared to my regular kettle it's enormous! I need a lot of boiling water to rinse my hand dyed fabric, that’s why I bought it. I won’t use it for tea. The handle is rather dangerous as it does move sideways, but I read another review where they’re using a hand mitt to hold it steady, and that’s fine for me. If I was using it daily, that probably wouldn’t work. It’s going to work great for my application.

Whistling Tea Kettle

I was glad to find the bottom of the kettle is magnetic and protrudes a little so it works on my induction range. The handle doesn't have a lock feature so it will create a hazard when pouring hot liquid as ithe handle slips sideways . The infuser is not deep enough if using less water so I will need an infuser that will immerse not hang on the kettle. I will keep the kettle and oven mitt it on the bottom to keep the handle steady when pouring.

This pot is AMAZING! Huge! Just what I was looking for. I purchased it for an uncle that has a coffee business and this was PERFECT. As others mentioned, the quality is wonderful. It's a huge size. It's made incredibly well. Great quality the handles, and every parts on the pot are very sturdy. It comes in a box with Japanese characters and you can see the great workmanship in this brand. I HIGHLY recommend it

Excellent we used it for years. The handle just came off though. Wondering how to reattach it.

Gigantic, High Quality Teapot for Big Families!

This teapot is huge and wonderful! It comes with a nice quality fitted mesh tea leaf infuser (removable). The box it came in was colorful, all written in Japanese, besides the brand name, which is BALLINGTON. The teapot itself is light weight (while empty), stainless steel with a decent plastic handle. I am so happy with my purchase, I may order another as a backup. I have a large family, so we needed this gigantic tea pot. Whistle is high pitched and the pot is generally easy to pour when full. However, for someone with arthritic arms, or lack of strength, I can see how it would be a bit challenging and may need the use two hands to lift and pour. Otherwise, pouring as normal has worked for me. I would say this teapot is worth the price and an absolute necessity for a large family. This teapot is also very unique to anything else available online or in store, considering its size and quality. It has a simple design and does the job well!

Great for camping!!

This is a perfect camping item. I love the size and it holds the hot water for a long time. I like the option of the infuser if we want to make coffee or tea in it as well. It was so great, I ordered one for my parents who camp with us...they thought it was really nice. The price was very reasonable compared to other stainless steel kettles I looked for. Perfect addition to our trailer.

I got these for our scout troop since they need a lot of hot water while cooking on a campout. Avoids scalded hands.

Great looking kettle, but difficult to pour.

I have a large family, and a large stove, so I wanted a kettle that was BIG, and cute. This one definitely is. The infuser is very practical, because I could brew tea, while boiling the water. The only thing that I did not like was the handle. Pretty designed, but if the kettle is full and heavy, very difficult to pour. It would be too heavy on your pulse to bring down the spout of the kettle. That is why I would not recommend it.
