The chair was not wide enough for my frame, and I sank down too far into the padding for comfort. I am in the 220lb range - so I think the chair would be better for those who are lighter and narrower.

I have finally found a comfortable chair that moves easily.
Terrible in so many ways!
I bought this chair about 3 months ago. At first I was happy with the comfort, but slowly I started to notice that the foam below my thighs wasn't particularly supportive. About a month later the seam ripped! Happily my wife made me buy the warranty, as Staples has a 14 day return policy. The warranty sent me a ecard for the full amount. I will NOT buy a Rutherford chair!
