Great sink, but has major flaw - drainage

We really enjoyed getting this large sink, but they designed the slope towards the drain much too gradual. Once the level gets low, it's very difficult to get the bits and pieces of food and veggies into the drain area. Water just pushes them around. Hard to keep clean because of this.

Not Worth the Money. Rusting After A Week

I've had this sink newly installed in my brand new house's kitchen and already there are tiny little brown rust stains somehow in the interior of the sink. It also does not drain very well if the default sink strainer is in the sink, where water pools up in the sink to some extent if you are washing a lot of dishes, or using the sink for an extended amount of time. I can't believe I paid $400 for something to rust within a few days.

Overpriced and Not Worth it

Love this sink! Game changer!

Going from white enamel 2-bowl sink to one-bowl (large and deep) stainless steel is one of the best home-improvement moves I have ever made! Easy to clean; great for washing big pots, etc! And how does it look? Waaaayyyy better - so sleek! We had to do over-mount install and it still looks great - nice smooth transition from sink edge to our countertops! Highly recommend!

Im so excited about my new sink , my kids love it. Looks expensive. My Plummer installed it said it was great quality & very nice looking. He had no trouble installing it. Make sure you measure .. it is a large sink. Best part it came with handle. No need to buy separate . My current garbage disposal fit nicely. I have the InSinkErator brand. Buy it !!!! Don’t wait

Love this sink and faucet

I love this sink and faucet combo. Sink is beautiful, easy to clean and is good quality. Faucet is pretty cool and fun to use- great for washing babies, large pots, plants or anything else that requires maneuverability. Love the depth of the sink for aforementioned items. I was hesitant at first because I thought the faucet would look too industrial but it actually looks really great. Also, I should mention that the sink has rounded corners, which I didnt realize was important until I had another brand (from overstock) sink that had square corners and its a nightmare to clean. So yay, this is way better. My plumber commented on how nice this set is; he is a generally cantankerous sort that doesnt like much, so high praise. Overall, another great purchase from overstock!

After spending hours and hours looking at different photos of hundreds of sink/faucet combos, I decided upon this one. I think the pictures are very accurate. The sink is deep, long and wide. The cut out dimensions are accurate. Love the metal tray that is included and fits on the bottom for drainage. This metal tray fits perfectly and is designed for this sink and it also protects the sink from bangs and scratches from heavy pots and pans. The faucet is well made, feels sturdy, and is easy to use. I got the center hole, not off to the right side because then my garbage disposal sits in the center. For us, it will make it easier to fix or replace the disposal at some point and also because my dishwasher sits next to it on the right so the center hole was a better fit. I also think it is really important to have a licensed, experienced plumber install it. It took about 3 hours, start to finish. This way, we never encountered any problems. Follow the directions that Kraus provides for care and cleaning. This sink is way too nice to ruin with harsh cleaners or abrasive sponges. I highly recommend this sink.

Don't buy if you have bad water ie lots of iron.

Son bought and installed this product for us 1 year ago for Christmas. Pretty easy to install. Looks fabulous. Overall a very nice deal, unless you have bad water. Had to redrill our well and ended up with even more iron in water. Even with special softener, salt, and water filter, by the end of the day sink is stained. Every night scrub and dry. The only thing I found works best is Softscrub with bleach and even that doesn't take it all out. Have also tried white vinegar and baking soda. It works some. Can get the sink looking pretty good but drain is always stained.

Awesome sink! My guy said it was super easy to install and he didn't have to run to ****** for parts. Everything was included and it was well-packaged. We read instructions prior to installing it and went to ***** for silicone caulk, new PVC pipes for under the sink, and a disposal flange. It looks fabulous and there is no more water spraying on the counter anymore and I can wash my large pots and cutting boards in it. I had recently bought a new faucet set at ****** so we used the soap dispenser from that set in this set. An added bonus is how quit my disposal is now. It used to grind loudly and shake the old sink. I love, love, love it and it fit the existing space perfectly. We didn't have to cut into the counter or the cabinets. Nothing leaks and the water stays in the sink when the plug is in. If I ever move, I'd buy this again.

I've used this same set in about 5 different homes that we were flipping and I truly believe it helps us to sell faster and for top money. The set is very well made and really makes the kitchen look like a gourmet kitchen. The deep sink is ideal for washing big pots and it never feels crowded. The faucet is ideal with two settings. Regular and high pressure spray. The grate for the bottom of the sink is essential because it saves the beautiful stainless steel from getting scratch marks. I will keep buying this set for as long as the price remains so reasonable. One note. I thought the description said chrome faucet and this came with brushed nickel.

We LOVE this sink!!! We had to cut the granite just a little bit to accommodate the sharp edges and wider basin's shape, but it was so worth it. We now have WAY more sink space and doing dishes is a breeze since I can fit even our largest pots, pans, baking sheets, etc. The water spots do show up, as others have mentioned, but wiping them down when the sink is cleared out is a small price to pay for having such a gorgeous, high-end looking sink. The one thing I would change would be the drain it comes with. If installed, it would leave no option for a disposal. So we had to purchase a different one and toss the one it came with. Luckily it is the standard sized opening, so it wasn't a deal-breaker! Also, the faucet is a dream! If you're on the fence about this purchase, just go for it. It's worth it!
