Love this trivet!

We just moved, and I haven’t actually used our new magnetic trivet yet, but I love the idea of it and think it will quickly become an oft-used, go-to tabletop accessory with our cold weather one-pot soups and stews!

Such a great idea How many times have I had a hot, heavy pot that needs something to protect the counter or table. It's sitting on a trivit, but it needs to be moved and I have no extra hands to move the pott and the trivit. This lovely little round wood trivit with its magnet inside just moves with the pot. What a really great idea...and it's attractive.

Got this for my Staub cast iron oval gratin

It fits perfect, and allows the gratin to sit on the table and serve, while keeping the food hot.

Review of Staub Round Magnetic Trivet 16cm (40511-078-0)

I didn’t know this came in different sizes as it was the wrong size it took such a long time to come I can’t be bothered sending it back and going through the whole process again

Too small for 24cm Staub cocotte

I read one of the reviews said the size was good for 24cm Staub cocotte but it was too small. Had to return it. This size will be good for any Staub cocotte smaller than 18cm.

I use Staub wood trivet for everything!

The Staub wood trivet looks so nice on my countertops, I leave it out for when it is needed, I use it for my coffee pot as well as my pans. The magnet inside is not visible and it is strong so any metal pan set on it the trivet attaches and I forgot it does that the first couple of times using it, very handy feature!

Staub Wooden Trivet

Excellent! Check the dimensions of the trivet against the dimensions of your intended STAUB. I use this for two different size pots, 24 and 28 inches. It suits these perfectly. To use, it's a quick magnetic click to get your STAUB from oven/stove to bench/table. Simply place hot pan on top of the trivet. This is ideal if you're handling a heavy, hot STAUB.
