The quality of Boos blocks is unmatchable. I’ve had mine for 7 years and I use it almost daily. Its size is perfect to prepare a healthy meal with tons of veggies. The size of the block adds to its multiple functions. I also use it in the bar area to display que mixers and fruits, but my favorite display usage is as at a charcuterie board. You wont regret adding the Boos Block to your kitchen.

I am delighted with the quality of this board. It is made of thick, robust, and dense wood. I have cut bread and vegetables on it, but it is best suited for cutting meat. I do not eat meat often, but I will definitely use this board for parties when many appetizers and salads are required, and the presentation is also excellent. It brings color and authenticity to the kitchen interior. It is a full-fledged table! Large and heavy, it stands firmly in place and does not creep away while cutting. This isn’t just a cutting board, this is a beautiful butchers block to add to your kitchen. The size alone is enough to make my own pasta on it and cut it. It comes with a mystery oil that you use to season the block. The die and weight shows it’s made of good maple woods. It’s easy to clean with no chemicals. I can see this being passed down to my kids when they have a house of their own.

First off, I’d like to point out just how large this cutting board is! See the photos to get an idea of how it takes up a lot of space on our table but also, how big it is in comparison to our Loki, who demanded he be included in the photo. The material is high quality wood and we loved that it came with the special oil to help preserve the integrity of the product. Easy to take care of, but hard for us to find an appropriate space to store it, because of its size and weight. I’d take a guess that it weighs anywhere from 10-15 pounds although I can’t say exactly because I don’t have a scale handy. We were pleasantly surprised when we received it in the mail as it was also packaged minimally but with the correct materials to also keep it safe from damage during shipping. Would highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a quality wood cutting board. Such a nice cutting board! We love it. It’s durable and well crafted.

This is perfect for all my baking! I love making cinnamon rolls and pies! Can also make a great charcuterie board for large gatherings! This is amazing! Beautiful cutting board!! This is a perfect gift for anyone, even people who don’t cook. It’s great for leaving on your counter top. thick and heavy, but doesn’t take up too much space. The juice grooves are deep, and there’s grooves in the sides that function like handles. Definitely hand wash and oil it every so often. You can tell this board will last a very long time if it is properly maintained! I bought for a wedding gift, I’m really impressed with the quality and I’m confident the couple will love it!

I love it! My father was a butcher for 12 years and also approves! It’s so durable and has great quality. I love the wood grain and the smoothness of it. It’s large enough for bigger meals like a small turkey. I can use it for display or for daily cooking. Very happy with this cutting board!!

The design of this cutting board is really smart. It catches the juices from whatever meat you’re cutting which is definitely helpful. I dislike the maintenance and how much it costs to do it. The other con is how heavy it is. Otherwise I do like it!

Very durable cutting board very thick beautiful wood. Love the deep groove around the sides and the groves on the sides for picking up. Quite a heavy board. As a vegetarian wouldn't really need a juice groove but Avery great idea none the less.

I received this John Boos cutting board from influenster for free to try and leave my honest review. I love John Boos cutting board it's such a famous brand. The board is so big and heavy you can use it for too many things. Because it's too big and heavy for me so I'm not gonna use it for cutting, I'm going to use it as a serving wood tray.

First off let me say, i obviously read the size wrong, cause I was SHOCKED to see how big this thing is. But it is very high quality wood and looks very nice! I honestly have a little trouble washing it due to its size but otherwise it’s a great cutting board. It’s gets the big jobs done, but not practical for everyday tasks or someone with a small house and no storage.

This is a super nice cutting board! Very thick and hefty. Feels like incredible quality. So much better for my knives. I love the edge that works like a moat to catch all of the juices before they run off the sides. Makes cleanup much easier! Also love the handles on the sides that make picking it up so much more simple. Can’t wait to use this next time I cut up a brisket or another meat. Would be great as a charcuterie board for entertaining as well!

The John Boos square cutting board is 12”x12” and it weighs at least 5 lbs. It’s almost 2” thick. The board is the perfect size. It has a groove to catch all those juices. It has finger grooves on both sides for easy carrying and moving it. The grain of the wood looks nice. It says it’s made from maple. It is my first Boos board and I am enjoying it to the fullest.

Beautiful, heavy duty, and perfect size. I love the color and functionality of it. I have used it several times and I know I will be using it on a regular basis. I may just leave it on my kitchen counter. It’s a nice added touch to my kitchen.

I had initially planned for this to be used in the kitchen but I will be building a prep table for my grill that will include this as a prep and cutting surface. This thing is huge! I love how the maple wood looks and how it’s an actually reversible cutting board and you can use both both sides of this board , and then clean ! I had never owned a Boos cutting board till now and the quality and workmanship is amazing! I didn’t realize how thick and sturdy this board was going to be. The size is perfect for my needs especially since I wanted something smaller than what I already have. I see this board lasting me a while.

This thing is huge! You are not going to take it out to cut an onion, but if you are slicing a watermelon or trimming a whole brisket, you will be happy you have the space. Because it is so big, it is fairly heavy so you know it will stay in place while you are using it. It is a little difficult to clean, especially if you have a double tub sink. If you have a farmhouse sink you should have no problem. Overall, it is not a board I will pull out for everyday tasks, but I am happy I have it for the times I need it.
