Poorly packaged
The cutting board was wrapped in a single layer of plastic wrap and had several gauges in the cutting board.

Im thrilled! Its perfect! Getting rid of toxic plastic cutting boards.
Product is hefty! It’s perfect for cutting meat. The wood material also feels very nice. The package came with care instructions that are easy to follow. No more flimsy cutting boards for me!
I LOVE THIS CUTTING BOARD! I cook a lot and this cutting board is my go to right now. It’s big and has lots of space to cut many veggies. It is very high quality and extremely durable.
This is my first true wooden cutting board and I am thrilled with it so far! It’s heavy duty but has cut outs on the sides for easy carrying. The maintenance will be interesting , I see in the pamphlet that was included oil is needed to maintain the integrity of the board. This will also be great for charcuterie boards and cutting up my fruits and veggies.
I had this cutting board for vegetable, meat and fruit preparation as it's much lighter and easier to carry around. It's a great product for the price. Highly recommended
This is a high-quality cutting board. I love the color. It's heavy and feels well made. It is large so the hand holds on the side come in handy for east movement.
This cutting board/block is so nice and such great quality. Using oil to preserve its finish is a must do but its size and quality are unmatched. It’s worth the splurge!
Really amazing quality, heavy duty cutting board that is going to be a staple in my kitchen forever. Love that it came with care instructions as well so I can take care of it and make it last!
This cutting board is beautiful. It’s a hardy maple wood so it’s pleasing into the eye, and also very sturdy. It’s heavy because it is made of real wood, but not so heavy that you cannot carry it. it also has a lovely texture and finish. This is very high-quality.
Used it today and its one of nicest and biggest cutting boards ive ever had! The wood is beautiful and easy to clean. No knife cuts or staining so far.
It’s very strong and very esay to clean i know everyone will that because it’s a biger one and all things work on it i really like the way the sip that and how it work and the material quality is very good it very important the material the use ti di it
Lesser quality than expected as it has a few small knots and blemishes that I'll need to keep an eye upon after repeated use. Will need to be lightly sanded to reduce the roughness of the surface and then treated overnight with a oil and sealer. Decided to use the Walrus Oil brand for that instead of the Boos brand based upon online reviews.
Board: Good, This One: ??
The actual board seems like it’s pretty sturdy. It lays flat, it’s thick, and it’s rather pretty. It’s easy on my sharp knives, and they take much longer between sharpening. Now the bad. This board in particular came in a ripped open plastic wrap covered in a white gritty dust. I cleaned the whole board off, and it seemed fine. Then I started the process of oiling and conditioning the board. I think on the Boos site itself they state boards come pre-oiled. This one looked so dry, and the grain raised terribly after that first wash. So I sanded it lightly with an extra fine grit paper, wiped it down with a lint-free cloth, and layered on some oil on all sides & in the finger wells. That board soaked it up in seconds. This oiling process took a week, during which I started to see light knife cuts on the center of both cutting sides. I suspect someone ordered this, used it for a little bit, then returned it. By this time, I just couldn’t return it and decided it wouldn’t be that big a deal. Since then, I’ve used my board daily, washing it on all sides and wiping it down (don’t set sit in water or stay wet). I condition it with Boos products, and it seems to be holding up ok. I’m not sure of its longevity. The board started out problematic, but hopefully everything has been addressed and the seams don’t give me any problems as well. I’m enjoying using it.
Beautiful cutting biard
I received my new cutting board today. Perfect size and wood. Beautiful.
Delivered Fast! Only issue is that it is shipped just shrink wrapped, with no other protective shipping materials covering it. Since it’s wood it can be very easily damaged, dented and dirtied.
Received this board months after it shipped. Thought it was lost in the mail or I wasn’t getting it. Very surprised when it came. It’s very thick, very durable feeling, beautiful wood grain. Didn’t give it 5 stars because its instructions talk about sealing it with the company’s mystery wax but none was included. I think a sample size should have been included. Or board should come already waxed and ready for use. Board wood did feel rough and not smooth which worries me for when I actually use it. My son loved pretending to slice his tomatoes on it.
My favourite cutting board since I got it! Highly recommend putting oil on it to increase its longevity
love this cutting board. Sturdy, beautiful. Will last a lifetime when properly cared for.
Love this board! It is a wonderful weight and stained so beautifully! I cannot wait to use it in my kitchen for years to come! Would be great for a display too!
