I needed a faucet that could swivel and also be pulled out. This one is perfect and elegant in its look. I'm very happy. Although it's probably considered more of a kitchen faucet, I'm using it in a bathroom.

This item is first-rate! It was installed by a registered plumber, I did not do it myself, so easy in that regard. It looks beautiful and everything about it works very well. Also, they it is beautiful and still makes us smile!

I've had this faucet for a little over a year, and have had to call Grohe for parts replacements twice in that one year. The fabric hose leading to the spray head is prone to leaks, because the design is such that when bending the spray head to, for example, spray down the sides of the sink, the hose rubs against the base of the spray head and develops leaks. Also, as other reviews note, over time, the automatic turnoff of the spray function, which is supposed to occur when the faucet is turned off, no longer works, and so the only function is the spray, and I can't get a straight stream of water. I'm awaiting a replacement spray head from Grohe.

I'm a contractor and have installed just about every Moen Kohler Delta faucet that Home Depot carries. Hansgrohe faucets are definitely a cut above in build quality. I did make 2 alterations. 1) touched-up with an exacto knife the edge of the plastic bushing that recieves the wand (another review had said it caused abrasion on the wand's feed line and it did seem a bit sharp) I just removed a slight burr left from manufacturing. 2) Since I have relatively low water pressure I removed one of the back flow restrictors inside the wand. There are two cartridges stacked in the handle the first one (yellow) restricts flow AND backflow, the second (white) redundantly restricts back flow. Maybe the spray button on the head only operates correctly when there's no backflow vacuum pressure? Maybe they intended the option to remove the flow restrictor but retain backflow restriction? Not sure but I left the second (white) cartridge in. Take a micro pick set and pull it out. It's just pressure-fit in the wand via a rubber washer.

Will say, without a doubt, this is the nicest faucet I have ever used, either in my home or anyone else's that I've visited. It is very similar to the styling you see in many European homes, which is where I first got interested in the Hans Grohe brand. You will notice that this model does not include any pull down sprayer and, while an issue for some, I personally don't care for them. I was quite pleased to find a product that was simply a high quality faucet, well executed, with a ceramic cartridge and a high arc design. I want to add, for the uninitiated, that if you are mounting over a three-hole sink, you will need to buy a separate plate. The one I used, which is the correct one (at least for the brushed finish) is found here:Hansgrohe 06473860 Kitchen Faucet Base Plate, 10-Inch, Steel Optik . While these are pricey units, they are absolutely worth the cost. The construction is rock solid (and you can feel the weight when assembling it!), the components are all high quality and the function is absolutely superb. It operate as exquisitely as it looks, and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. I do want to comment on one other aspect, as I've seen it called out elsewhere. As should be common sense, water cannot flow uphill, so when you shut the faucet off, you will get the requisite run off of whatever water was still in the downward portion of the spout. I'm not sure why people consider this a design issue, when it's simply an inescapable consequence of having a high arc faucet like this. What else do you expect, for the water to flow uphill and back into the spout? Again, absolutely fantastic product and the nicest faucet I've ever used. Despite the price point, I would buy it again without hesitation. Design, built quality and functionality are all top notch and exactly what you should expect in a Hans Grohe product.

Nice but....
We had this installed but we can't get the temperature regulation to operate correctly. It's very hot unless you turn the handle to the coldest mark. In other words, either HOT or very cold.

Pros: Good looking works just fine. Cons: seems to have a reduced water flow.and the 'button' to change the spray is awkward. It also has a plastic pull out which my plumber assured me will have to be replaced because the nozzle cakes up. Apparently Hansgrohe will replace it for free if you have your sales receipt.

One great looking piece of art being used as a faucet. I purchased this unit to replace a similar looking KWC faucet. We got the chrome unit to match the other chrome components in the sink. Cleans easily so we have no problem with fingerprints. I had a plumber install the unit and it was completed in 30 minutes. After 2 months, we're still in love with it. I had a plumber install the unit and it was completed in 30 minutes. Hoping it lasts longer than our KWC unit
