Worked great for babyback ribs

Used these for pork babyback ribs and it worked great. Had one extra long rack, so I put it in the center. Over time, it shrunk as it cooked. Smoked for 4 hours; rotated the ribs every hour when I misted them with apple juice. Moved the rack closest to the indirect heat to the furthest slot. They cooked great with the thick side up. Highly recommend if you smoke for a party. Used a Weber premium charcoal grill with the charcoal inserts for indirect cooking.

I have a couple of rib racks and this one seems to work best. It has wide space between racks and nothing stuck to it. Highly recommend.

Good simple rack. Fits in webber jumbo joe. I was able to smoke (via snake method) 4 lbs of ribs on the jumbo joe with this rack. Keep in mind the lid hight is less than the full size kettles. I wad able to angle the ribs slightly and was sure to chose some pork ribs that were not too tall. With a little fiddling you should just be able to get the lid closed.

It was awesome ? you can cook more ribs with it than without.

Did what it supposed to Ribs came out great sturdy construction.

Without a metal rod inserted in the center, ribs fall thru the center, burning them and preventing sliding the rack in different directions without them getting hung up. Very bad move for a company like Weber, who’s in that business.

The rack is not suited for a full “rack of ribs”. The rack does not keep the ribs off the grill and out of the heat with indirect cooking.

The Weber rib rack is excellent. After prepping the ribs we cut the slab into triple-rib portions, which worked out great on the rack.
