Hard to install

Assembly was ok, but the installation was pretty hard. Hard to find the screws from the insulation, it’s a serious workout holding it. Finally it was up and secured when I realized that the stem in the middle that holds the bottom glass panel was installed crooked so the bottom glass is not in level. It will annoy me every time I’ll look at it. I will end up getting another fixture. This was a cheap fixture,I guess I got what I paid for.

Perfect bedroom ceiling light fixture

This light fixture is perfect for a bedroom. It's flush mount and a little over 5 - 1/2" deep. It comes with three pieces of frosted glass with a small amount of clear glass at the top and bottom. The bottom diffuser is completely frosted or the white opal color. It takes 3 normal size 60w light bulbs which are not included but you can use either incandescent or LED bulbs. It looks nice!

All Glass nothing But Glass

The Hampton Bay Borland 14 in. 3-Light Polished Chrome Round Flush Mount, The Modern Ceiling Light with Glass Drum Shade is a delicate frosted glass light fixture. Wear gloves and be careful with the glass when putting the fixture together. The fixture finishes off with the round slice of frosted glass that screws up underneath. This is a pretty modern light no doubt but it’s all glass and very littler metal to it. BUT that is what gives it its charm. Finding the holes to attach the light to the hardware is a little tricky, take your time.

A Most Excellent and BRIGHT ceiling light

It was time to finally replace some older (40 years older) ceiling lights with some more modern contemporary styled lights. This one caught my eye and it's now installed in my hallway. The combination of 3 lights coupled with 75 watt LED bulbs make it like daylight back in that usually darker hall. As my lighting projects upgrade, like this one, everything will come together beautifully with a totally upgraded look throughout the house. Glad I made this choice!!

Modern look

I just received this Hampton Bay Bourland 14 in. 3-Light Polished Chrome Round Flush Mount, Modern Ceiling Light with Glass Drum Shade a few days ago to do a review and it's a very modern light that will spruce up a ceiling light area in a kitchen or den or even a hallway. The opal glass and the chrome Fixtures to hold them together pair quite well together. It was very easy to put together and came with great instructions. And the installation was easy as well.

Nice fixture, use online instructions

the light itself was what I was looking for, modern style to replace an existing fixture. Instructions came in the box but when we followed them the housing was about an inch off the ceiling and not flush. once we took everything down and used the online instructions it installed fine.
