Kohler 35” stainless sink

I wanted a 36” stainless 16guage sink and Elkay makes their larger sinks in lower gauge. However this Kohler sink is very poorly made. It doesn’t have the nice continuous polish inside of the Elkay. It is polished horizontal on the front and back and strangely vertical or unpolished on the sides with what look like sanding marks at each corner that are rough to the touch. The welding in one corner is so poor it is dimply and raised. I give it it’s size and it’s metal gauge but it is a cheep sink despite the cost or the brand name.

Rusted the first day

This sink is thick but scratched and started rusting the first day. This is unfortunate since it is under $30,000 worth of granite and can't be replaced. I was expecting better for an $800 sink. What a joke.

Arrived promptly. Shipped directly from build.com, but much cheaper price plus could use coupon and Rakuten for cash back! Just a few extra steps to get the same item from the same supplier, but great rewards earned on Rakuten and Club O, plus coupon discount!

Great sink, just as described on the website!

We bought the sink. It shipped and arrived as scheduled. It is just as it is described and we are very happy with the purchase. It did arrive with one of the corners dented, but the undermount installation will make this invisible. The sink dimensions, especially the depth are wonderful.

So far so good. Beautiful sink, compatible with disposal, identical to and 12 the price of the one we were going to get from the hardware store. We haven’t installed yet but will update with pics when I do. It arrived either 1 or 2 days after ordering, which was amazing.

Nice size and style

I love the way this sink looks. The flat bottom is a bit of a challenge because it doesn't naturally drain everything to the center so if that bothers you look for something more sloped.

Pitting after 5 days

I had my sink installed about 5 days ago and I saw pitting at the bottom of it this morning.

Love this sink!

I bought this 4 years ago, and I'm buying another now for a second home. I love the wide width, and the single bowl design works best for me to wash large trays and cookie sheets. I use Barkeepers Friend which keeps it looking like new. A real work horse. I thought I may want a different design for the new house, but I'm staying with my tried and true!

Does not drsin well

So disappointed . Bought my Kohler strive because of the brand for kitchen remodeling. Its undermount , hard to replace. It does not drain well and rusted dots on the edges.

Have not installed yet but will provide feedback once in use. Sink looks great and very sturdy.

I love the oversized sink. The rack at the bottom has been handy and easy to remove for cleaning. Good quality stainless steel.

Love the size of this sink, make washing in it so convenient. I also like the dishcloth bar/utility shelf, it is a very handy place to put dishcloths, scrubbers, and sponges.

I purchased this for a remodel - and just love it! It is a perfect size, and looks clean and modern in our new kitchen. The bottom grate that came with it will ensure a long life for this sink!

Love my sink! Only downfall is that food tends to not drain down to the center as it's pretty flat and not much of a slope, which I prefer it that way. So if you are using the bottom grid, you have to lift it to scrape the food down the drain. Just an annoyance but other than that, love the bigger size and I'm glad I did go with the larger one.

This sink is so outstanding. This is a huge 35''x18''x9'' basin with the drain located center and slightly toward the back of the sink. The basin is large enough for almost any vessel or large item neddy attention. Installation was breeze.
