Shame

I purchased three of the Studio toilets a while back. I opened them and examined them and found a defective bowl with a large wad of fired china on it that was clearly visible. It looked terrible. Once, I notified them, I was given a replacement. Life happened and the toilets sat for quite some time before they could be installed. When I got to the last one, I pulled the tank out of the box and sliced my finger wide open! Like the bowl, there was a piece of fired and glazed china on the lower edge. I tried installing it onto the tank to see if it would be hidden and it wasn’t. I missed it when I examined the tanks. That was my fault. What wasn’t my fault was the fact that some of these products are clearly not first quality. I had to purchase another tank at my expense. Never again.

Needed a replacement tank for our AS Studio toilet. The quality is fantastic, super sleek design, and flush mechanism is very strong. I would add that the mechanism strength uses very little water, so it is super efficient. The dimension of the tank depth is narrow and allows more space overall.

[Rewarded Review] Cool tank

I was a little surprised at the hand-made-looking quality of this porcelain. Possibly because it is made in Mexico. I was expecting something more sleek and modern because the overall design is very modern. I'm used to other European brands--which this is not. That said, it's easy to install and flushes great. I wish you could buy other handle finishes with the tank, but you must purchase them separately--effectively wasting a perfectly good handle that comes with it. An easy solution would be for American Standard to ship the tank without a handle. If you can install this tank, you can install a handle.
