Love this rug! It looks very traditional at first glance, but the design is definitely more arts and crafts. The colors are vibrant and accurately depicted in the picture. The rust color is a muted red. It also had golden yellow and teal blue in the design. I bought this for the dining room and the Sultanabad ivory for the living room. The rooms adjoin and the rugs look great together. This is a thinner, light weight rug, not a heavy thick rug like New Zealand wool. I ordered a thick pad to go under it, and it looks great.
