Why wasn’t I told about a soft shut off issue?
I had the Zedra faucet installed last week. When it is wide open and I shut it off, a thin stream continues for 5 seconds before it fully shut off. I was told by both the retailer (ABT in Chicago) and Grohe customer service that this is a “soft shut off”. It is annoying and not explained in your product description.
Grohe Kitchen faucet
I'm a bit disappointed in this Grohe faucet. The pull down spray button is difficult to work and it always comes out as a strong blast and then the spray. The strong blast of water gets water everywhere. Also, I wish it came out futher into the sink.
Little disappointed that th we spray head didn't have a positive parking spot. Very sloppy and loose fitting.
Disappointed entirely
I have excellent pressure in my home and this faucet barely produces a stream I can use to clean. The head also drips. Very disappointed and had the previous LadyLux with no complaints.
High Quality
Great addition to the stainless steel kitchen motif, very stylish, and high quality. Highly functional with the sprays and extending head. Plumber complimented the unit’s overall design and quality from an installation point of view.
The Tulip
We love the way this faucet looks, but did need to have our plumber adjust it to ensure the sprayer didn't drop when we turned on the faucet.
Stopped working
Lasted a year then the spray is the only function that works. Then after another year it stopped working all together. It would get stuck in the off position where no water comes out at all. Terrible terrible purchase to just last under two years.
Ceo
Excellent services, professional customer care. Fast and precise.
Faucet
My old grohe broke had for over 20 yrs new one is great
Fantastic Grohe Kitchen Faucet
The faucet is beautiful!! Unfortunately I have not been able to install it. I've had 2 plumbers attempt and all have given up without success. The faucet will not secure. I've called the help desk several times and they have been very helpful and offered recommendations, however to date none have been successful. I am awaiting another plumber (previous ones don't want to return) to see if the most recent recommendations will work.
Sprayer toggle function stopped working
Toggle that switches to sprayer function stopped working so now faucet is constantly in sprayer mode or some hybrid combination. Unable to go back to the regular non-sprayer mode.
Not well received
The only reason it received a one star is it couldn't be installed. The lack of parts at warehouses is concerning as you can't afford to wait 2-3 days for them to arrive.
Slow flow
Love the look and quality, but slow flow of water which is hard to get used to
Open box missing pieces
This product arrived from Lowes with the box already opened. Following Grohe’s installation video because the box contained the wrong paper instructions, I find I’m missing a piece and I have an extra piece from a different faucet. Why ship out an open box? I’m very unhappy that I cannot install this today, and I will have to go through the trouble of exchanging.
A lovely design. Very sleek and easy to use
Grohe quality
Grohe is known for its quality and that is why we chose it after having good experiences with it in Europe. The design of this model is simple yet beautiful. The finish hides finger prints. The handle is easy to use and smooth in its movement. The water flows evenly and perhaps even elegantly. We thought there might be a magnet that pulls the head up and locks it in nicely, as the model in the showroom had, but we were wrong. The confusion had to do with Ferguson's old website which stated it had a magnet, but the new website made no mention of a magnet... so there is that. Otherwise, it is a fine faucet and we enjoy it very much.
Quality design and workmanship backed by lifetime warranty and great customer support.
Disappointed
With the cost of this faucet there should never be a bad review. The faucet drips from the moment installed. Its been a week since I contacted the local dealer, and still have not received a call from manufacturer to get the problem resolved. Too bad you can't have a demonstration when purchasing this expensive faucet. I would not have bought it had I known when switched to the "spray" feature, that it initially sprays VERY hard. You get doused with the over spray before it calms to a normal shower type spray. The "standard" stream is non-aerated thus dish soap really doesn't foam up unless you use the "sprayer" and get over spray again. Might be returning it soon if they do not resolve.
Grohe Faucet--near perfect.
Purchasing the faucet from the Grohe web site could not have been any easier. The package arrived timely. The faucet is beautiful and functions perfectly. A great choice for a modern-look kitchen. Even the plumber that did the installation thought the faucet was beautiful. The triple spray feature is excellent.
Pros and Cons of a Very Good Faucet
It's a great faucet in many ways--easy to use single lever handle, complete swivel, pull down faucet with spray, fun to look at. But a few drawbacks: The water from this faucet releases 3" higher above the sink than my old one, which means the water hits the sink itself, plates, whatever, with greater force, which means greater splash. I'm having to get used to holding my hands, and everything else, much closer to the bottom of the sink to keep that splashing within the sink. On the other hand, I'm turning the water on at much less than full force to try to reduce the splash, so I'm probably saving water. Also, on the negative side, to reach the shower spray setting, one has to cycle through the "powerful" blade spray, and that can really set a fine mist to flying everywhere. I'm thinking I need to find an oilcloth apron to protect my clothes from the blowback. If I were starting over, I might pick the model without the blade spray. I'm not sure how often I'll use it.
