Terrible quality, constant problems, bad service

We've had this shower panel for a little over two years. It's had constant problems. The thermostatic cartridge locked up early on, causing it to be very difficult to change the temperature. Apparently I forced it too hard, loosened the cartridge, and caused a leak within the panel. I thought that resetting it would fix the issue, but it reoccurred. Now this garbage company wants me to pay for the part because it's past 2 years, even though I reported the issue while the warranty was valid.

Just finished installing this Vigo shower panel system. I’m 100 the DIY person and this is my 5th full custom shower. And do I wish I knew about this product years ago. For the quality of product and the shower experience you get out of using it is unmatched. It would cost me 3-4 times as much to plumb in individual water tiles, a separate shower wand and a beautiful rain head just to accomplish what this unit does out of 1 single product.

I love the look of this shower system. Unfortunately, mine did not work properly - it was either cold water or hot water, no gradation. I worked with customer service (which was excellent) to replace the thermostat valve - it did the same thing. THEN, I was told by Vigo CS that the water pressure needed to be below 60 psi to work properly! There was ZERO mention of the 60 psi limit ("caution" / "warning") on any Wayfair.com marketing information NOR on the Vigo Installation & Assembly Instructions.PDF or Operations Manual. PDF!

Remove regulator for optimum performance.

We love our VIGO shower Panel. Word to the wise, you have to remove the water regulator fprior to installation. These systems are shipped with a California Commie 1.5gal per minute regulator. Call VIGO Customer Service, which is awesome and they will send you the directions to remove the regulator (it's easy). For optimum performance and satisfaction these systems need unrestricted pressure. Once you have no restrictions on pressure you will be very, very happy. I now take two showers a day.

Great build but unusable due to low water pressure

The unit is well built and looks great, but the water pressure is way too low. More than half the holes for the rainfall shower head have only drops of water coming out of them intermittently. The water from the bottom two jets just sprays back on the unit, and nothing comes out of the top two jets.

Easy install, nice to use and looks good too

I had to wait several weeks for the whole bathroom reno to be completed before i could use this and write this review. With the lower water pressure requirements in California i wasnt expecting much. However this did exceed my expectations. Pros- The quality is good. It was easy for my contractor to install. The rainfall and hand showers work well. Cons- The body sprays are ok (nice to have). The three from the bottom work well, but the top one barely reaches you. I would still recommend this unit.
