Very poor quality. The back of the lamps were loose and would swivel slightly. I had to rip the felt off the bottom to screw back in tighter to secure. We received 2 lamps so I checked the other same thing. Very disappointed

Beautiful lamp, just not the first one we received

Let me start by saying I love the look of this lamp. We bought two for the nightstands in our room. When they arrived, one was fine, but the other had an extremely loose base and the shade was lopsided. Capitol Lighting was great about letting me send it back, but unfortunately the replacement lamp was on backorder for a couple of months. So we waited and waited and finally the second lamp arrived. It did not have any issues, so now I finally have two beautiful lamps on our nightstands. The quality control was definitely not there on the first one, but glad it all worked out in the end.

Visual comfort lamp

The gold leaf was very poorly applied...did not live up to visual comfort standards. As a designer I see all levels of gold leafing. This was so so. BUT, I love the design of the lamp. Perfect for bedroom nightstand so I am using them anyway!! Beautiful design Disappointed in the gold leafed finish...not in keeping with visual comfort standards. Bought two and had to send one back. The leaf was patched.

Beautiful high quality lighting that really pulled the room together. 1800 lighting has excellent customer service.
