Nice quality faucet, very pleased

Almost didn't buy this based on another review, as the reviewer complained about the head not retracting due to no magnet. But we took a chance, bought this, and installed it ourselves. There is no magnet- it uses a weight on the hose line under the counter to pull the head back into position. The weight clamps to the hose line, and can be adjusted so that it pulls nicely back into place. The head is plastic, the rest of the faucet is metal

Great faucet - does not splatter, but has a smooth water flow. Easy to use.

Disappointing

Overall, this functions as expected. The reason I gave it two stars is because the spray head does not retract back into the spout and I can’t feel any evidence of a magnet pulling it in. It now sits about 1/4” below the spout and ruins the sleek look that I bought this expensive faucet for. I’ve only been using this faucet for two months. Frankly, a faucet I bought for the laundry room that cost much less works way better.

This is an amazing sink faucet. If you have never installed a faucet then maybe get someone to put this in for you. It’s not hard, it’s just finicky thanks to the track and getting the angle right so the faucet head slides in and out easily. Once in, it’s by far one of the best faucets out there.

We have had an old three hole sink faucet, ever since we bought our house. We'd been looking to upgrade for a long time, but didn't want to have to tear apart our sink to do it. This faucet from Hansgrohe, was straightforward to install. It took more time and effort removing our old faucet than it did to install this one. An important note, if you have a three hole sink, this faucet does not come with a cover plate. You need to buy that separately, and the one from Hansgrohe costs around $50. It would have been nice to have it included in this kit. Beyond that, the faucet is fantastic. It has nice flow, all the components (the handle, the sprayer, and the actual faucet) work very well and all feel like quality components. We are really happy with the upgrade to this faucet, I wish we had done it long ago, and was happy that we were able to get it installed in about 45 mins without any real issues or problems.

Mostly satisfied

The unit arrived promptly as expected. I would definitely recommend faucet.com to others. The unit was installed as a replacement for an old Grohe faucet. While we like the look of the unit and the versatility of the swing and pull out head, the spray pattern causes excessive splashing on both settings. There doesn't seem to be anyway to add an aerator to the unit to reduce the splashing. We will keep it since is was a substantial investment. but would not recommend it to anyone concerned with water spraying all over the back splash and window over the sink while washing.
