Great rug! Super soft and makes a great playroom rug. Works great to layer smaller brighter rugs on top of that are easier to change out over time. Have used our rug in several different rooms and houses now. Easy to vacuum and spot clean. Recommend a rug pad since it is thin to keep in place and add extra cushion.

Great rug for the price. Neutral colors and pattern that will compliment many modern decor styles. Beware that it will fade over time if placed near a window that gets a lot of sunlight. Regardless, it’s a nice thin rug that will work close to bedroom doors because they will easily glide over the rug.

Love, love love this rug! I purchased for under a modern, metal table with a zinc top. It lays on dark tile and works perfectly as a transitional piece, tying the room together. The colors are crisp and the pattern is understated. It shows up exactly as I had hoped. I've had now for several months with no issues thus far of staining - I've only encountered some wear and tear that would be expected for a high traffic kitchen rug. I've received many compliments.

Pictured is the Grey option, which wasn’t shown anywhere on the product page. I thought I was getting more of a really bright off-white type of grey based on the picture. What I got works but it wasn’t my ideal. It’s a lovely rug, though it doesn’t feel nice to sit on. I assembled a lot on furniture on this and my knees were screaming because of the texture. Don’t buy it for comfort! Creases easily when you fold it but doesn’t stay creased if you lay it out. Be careful not to hook anything on the weave.

I love my rug. It's a vibrant bright yellow. It really cheers up my room. It is high quality material and the weaving on it is good. The pattern is beautiful. I gave it 4 stars for these 2 reasons. One, It's not a soft rug and it's very thin. I use it on the hardwood floor. It absolutely needs a non slip rubberized rug pad underneath it. Without the pad the rug will not not stay put. I don't know how well the rug will work or stay put if used on carpet. Two, vacuuming the rug is difficult and annoying. The first time I vacuumed the rug I had it on the "carpet" setting. Instead please put it on the "bare floor" setting. On the "carpet" setting the vacuum pulled out and unraveled the woven material. I had to learn the hard way. I wouldn't say my rug is ruined or anything. It's just annoying. The thick yarn like material cannot be pressed back into the rug either. The rug can only be vacuumed in one direction. Not back and forth or the rug will annoyingly shift around even with the rug pad underneath it. I hope my review helps.

Shedding

I was pleased with the reviews and the rug. It is aesthetically pleasing and enhances my furniture. HOWEVER, I have had this rug for 2 years and it still fills up the vacuum. I am afraid of vacuuming it because soon it will look like a sphynx cat. Sadly, I would not recommend this rug.

THe black and white pattern is bold but it does not overwhelm the room. IT is a perfect addition to a room with other bold colors if you want to add some texture to the floor. It isn’t a flat weave and is somewhat loosely woven. We have 2 small dogs who run across it all the time and we have not had any problems with snags. It vacuums nicely. Not sure how long it will last but we are enjoying it for now. We also got a rug pad to put under it and have not had any problems with it moving.

Beautiful and affordable!

I just repainted my bedroom, including my wood floor. I needed an area rug and curtains to tie the room together. It's perfect. A solid area rug would have been too bland so I'm glad I gave this subtle diamond pattern a chance. I have a queen bed with a bench at the end and 2 end tables. The rug protects my flooring under the bench and more than half the space under my bed and reaches 6-8" short of my walls on either side. Most importantly, couldn't beat the price! I would recommend both Hayneedle and nuLOOM to friends and family. Thank you!

Great rug! Yes cotton, but for easy to clean thus far. Sprayed a little winded on each spot and it came right out. I will say it needs a pad under it as mine is under the couch front legs and coffee table and it still moves. No dog. No kids. Hope this helps someone:)

Too hard to clean

Stains really easily. I have a portable carpet cleaner and tried to clean a spot off of this rug and it just leaves a huge spot behind when it finally dries. I've cleaned this spot over and over again. Also, the diamonds are made of several stitched in strings and they snag easily.

Nice rug

I was impressed with the price of this rug. The rug is definitely more like a blanket, it doesn't have anything on the back of it to make it sturdy. The colors are pretty and the pattern is nice. You definitely need a decent rug pad to keep the rug from slipping and getting bunched up. This rug sits underneath a dining room table so it's not really an issue for me. I wouldn't recommend it for a living room or somewhere that would be getting lots of foot traffic due to the material and the thinness of the rug. Overall, it was a good purchase for the price.

Seriously, Overstock?

Believe it or not, this is the second rug I've received from Overstock in the WRONG COLOR! I finally discovered they had the pictures labeled incorrectly. So what you see on that main photo is wrong! I ordered what I thought was "taupe" but what I really wanted was "gray." I checked on another size of this rug and the colors were labeled correctly. But just like the first time, by the time I get this rug shipped to me, they are out of stock of the color I do want. I am seriously fed up trying to buy a rug for my living room!
