Small scale - big disappointment

I was excited for this purchase… great disappointment when i tried to use it the first time.. doesn’t work even with new batteries - the included ones didn’t work either- Bought it last July at Sur La Table

I was hoping for something that was accurate to 100th of a gram. I calibrated it per instructions, still off by .03 grams.

Grams readings vary so scale is inaccurate.

I carefully weighed individual pills from an Rx for my toy poodle and about half of the per pill readings were different. I am assuming the gram weights come from the pharmaceutical company with accurate, not variable, weights. Here's what I'm wondering: is there perhaps a necessary minimum weight before the grams start registering? Will ask my friendly pharmacist to weigh each pill and then I'll compare. I do understand this scale is not intended to weigh medications. However, a gram is a gram is a gram and an item should weigh a gram no matter which gram scale is used. If this scale is sold to measure in the hundredths of a gram then it should do just that.

Great Scales

I've had these scales for at least 3 yrs and they work as good now as they did then. I agree tho, I wish there was an on line manual cause I'd really like to know how to calibrate them. They still do the job perfectly but nothing lasts forever. But for now, for now, so far so good.

auto shut off ruins the scale

This scale would be absolutely perfect if it didn’t turn itself off after 80-90 seconds. I bought it to make pour overs and it turns off before I finish pouring. Damn shame because everything else about it is perfect, but it’s useless for coffee purposes. I wish there was a way to disable the auto shut off.

Worthless

It does not weigh accurately .. and it does not last very long. If you're serious about proper weights and measures in the kitchen.. get something else.

This scale is junk don't waste your money or your time to calibrate it, still won't work it will say pass and put a nickle on it and it still weighs wrong!

Horrible

Piece of crap right out of the package. Numbers kept jumping up and down. Tried everything I read online how to calibrate it. It won’t even sit still long enough to read 0.0.

Waste of money

Have purchased 3 of these. None lasted more than a couple months. Did not travel with unit; stayed on counter. Each started giving error codes; changed batteries with no effect. Then each just died. Do not waste your money on this item.

Perfect pocket scale

Best pocket scale I know of for retail sale. Even better than Titan brand digital scales.

What I like about this scale is that it is small and works well up to 16oz. I use it in our RV.
