The coolest a/c I've ever owned

This is the second summer using this a/c in pretty hot weather. I live in the south and the past couple weeks the Temps have been 100 F and this a/c has kept my family cool through it all. I have this a/c cooling the living room/ kitchen. It does such an amazing job. Anytime I have company over they can't believe that its a window a/c cooling my living room, they are convinced I have central a/c. It is also super quiet, to the point sometimes I don't even realize its on and will have to move closer to it to make sure its working.

It’s only been a year and it’s stopped working out of nowhere. Would not suggest spending 500 dollars on something that doesn’t work.

We have a large room that cooled quickly. It's a little loud, and definitely a 2 person install because it's pretty heavy.

I knew about TCL tv's but air cond, for the price I"ll gave it a try.. Very quiet, it works very well so far

Awesome AC unit

I had a 5000 BTU unit at first that could not cope with the solarium space.

Was damaged and had to return.

Pain in the rear, but you get cool air.

I did not like that you have to disassemble and reassemble the unit to install it for my daughter. Nor did I like arguing with her that it was necessary.

Nice unit cools well.

Item works good although we couldn’t get the app to control the unit. The unit is heavy but installation was fairly easy because you actually install the case in the window and then slide the actual air conditioner back into the case. Since the unit is so heavy this made installation fairly easy although you will need two people to slide the unit back into the case because of the weight.

unit came damaged and there were not clear instructions on how to install this very large unit and/or the parts to do it

Only complaint is the condensation outside the unit fills up and the outside fan hits the water in the tray because the drain hole is higher than the outside fan so it constantly makes a pinging noise. Maybe I could drill a hole in the lower part of the drip pan ?

Boom just in time for hot summer,I have cathedral ceilings in my living room and this handled cooling perfectly!!

[Rewarded Review] Amazing Air Conditioner!

This is a HUGE air conditioner! But it is a beautiful white color and once it is hooked up properly, it does a great job cooling down large spaces! BUT, it is large and heavy! I recommend at least two people to set it up! It has a handful of settings to choose from and it's easy to use!

About 9 years ago, we finally had central heating and a/c installed in the majority of our home. Because we remodeled our carport into an additional room on a slightly lower level than the rest of the home, we were unable to connect a vent to that room. Since then, we have continued to use a window unit to keep the room comfortable, especially during our hot Georgia summers. While our previous unit had served well for many years, we hoped to upgrade to a newer model. We have been very pleased with the quality of other TCL products in the past, so I was confident in selecting this item. At 15,000 BTU, it is perfect for cooling larger rooms (up to 700 sq ft). Some of its great features include a remote control, a timer, eco mode, a filter cleaning reminder, sleep mode, etc. If you rely on window air conditioning to cool your home, I highly recommend purchasing this product as it is made well and built to last. Thank you to Walmart and the TCL brand for the opportunity to try it!

Living in Texas means a sweaty spring summer and fall. We have central heat and air but come July and August it runs non stop. We live in a 1000 square foot mid 90's single wide mobile home. You can imagine how rough it gets! We installed (my husband and i) this big booty beauty in the middle of the house where the living room is. I was scared it wouldn't fit! But it did just fine. We did make a kind of stand under it for extra support just a precaution

My favorite part about the TCL 15,000 BTU Energy Star Window Air Conditioner is that it comes with a remote control which is so convenient. It really gets the room cool. Was a somewhat easy installation. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

The large room window ac definitely cools the room down. This is a large window unit. The ac unit comes with an installation guide with easy to read instructions. The unit also comes with a remote control and the batteries for the remote. The display is digital and easy to understand and use. The ac uses a 3 prong power supply cord. It also includes the window filler panel that you will use during installation. The support bracket is included as well. The ac cools well and is not too loud. You will hear a clicking noise when the compressor turns on and off. The display is digital and it includes a timer. The remote has a power, cool, temp setting, sleep, timer, auto mode, fan speed, display, eco and fan only buttons. The eco mode will turn the unit off once the room is cooled to the user set temperature. The unit will automatically turn back on when the room temperature rises above the set temperature. The fan will run first during this mode before the compressor to help conserve energy. The unit works great for a large room. This unit is heavy and you will need two people for assembly. We are very happy with this item and would recommend to others.
