Almost very good

No really ‘deep’ seating, but that’s why its size is good for us shorter people. Very comfortable.

This Will Outlast Me!

Assembly went well. I did it myself. I did put the two support legs on before attaching the sofa seat to the back. That gave me some support. One hole for an A bolt wasn’t big enough to get it started. I enlarged it by screwing a B bolt into the hole about a quarter of an inch. The cushions are firm and well made. The sofa frame and table are very sturdy. Just a beautiful set of furniture!

Backrest tube support built incorrectly.

I am unable to install the backrest of the couch. The metal support tube is flush on one end. Thus the diameter for the routed hole in the armrest would need to be larger. The other end the1/2 inch tube protruded fro the larger tube and fits into the routed section of the other armrest. I need the backrest replaced wit a quality controlled part. I am an Engineer that currently manages a customer service team. So I have a good understanding of the manufacturing process. Upon resolution I will update my satisfaction as appropriate.

THE Perfect Porch Sofa!

I have only good things to say about my Vineyard sofa. Looks great, feels wonderfully sturdy, and supports “extended” sitting (i.e. naps) comfortably. Everyone from grown children to 6 grandkids seems to enjoy it. Would purchase similar pieces, but my fabric choice (Spiced Burlap) is not available now on the website.

Pre-drilled pilot holes are misaligned, rendering product unassemblable and functionally useless

Received one of these and two individual chair versions as well. All three products I received had mis-drilled pilot holes on the frame which render the product unassemblable.

Heavy, Durable, Attractive

Heavy, durable, attractive. I expect this to hold up well in the outdoor elements as my other poly furniture has! Cushions are very soft and comfy/high quality. Easy to assemble but a two person job only because the furniture is so heavy. Delivered on a giant pallet by the street, you will need help unboxing and lifting these heavy heavy items. A power drill will make assembly faster. I also like that the seating isn't a straight back, it leans back a little, which is why I ordered this style. The arms are low and wide and comfy.

Good couch - arrived damaged

Our family loves Polywood. This is the second lakeside couch we have purchased. The first one had minor damaged, fixed with a deck screw. This time, the upper corner of the seat back was almost cracked off during shipping. Warranty claim has been filed but not yet addressed. Over the years it does appear to me that quality has been impacted, perhaps by volume.

Really nice porch couch

This is an updated version of my original review, which was, I think, only three stars. This couch is really nice and was pretty easy to put together, but one of the cushions was flawed and the buttons popped off after only a day. Customer service was extremely slow (hence the three stars instead of four) but eventually came through and they replaced the cushion and now all is well. It took several weeks, which I found frustrating. But they did the right thing in the end. The couch is lighter weight than I had anticipated (we have Polywood chairs, and they are pretty heavy) and the seat is more narrow than a traditional couch, which means it takes up less room on the porch and it's easy to move. I like how firm it is; I don't like how the cushions can slip around a lot, but that's a minor quibble. All in all I'm glad we bought it.

Very happy with our poly

Very happy with our poly wood vineyard seating set. Was looking for alternative to plastic strapped couches and chairs that disintegrated in summer sun after 2 years or metal sling chairs or tables that showed rust after 5 years. The manufactured wood alternative should be the answer and give us many years of enjoyment. Special thanks to our delivery service and driver who was extra attentive to our needs.

Excellent investment.

Incredibly well-built, and very easy to assemble. The seating isn't crazy deep, so easy to get in and out of. We purchased two sofas and two deep seat rocking chairs and our plan is to add a dining table next year. There isn't a better priced patio furniture made of this type of material on the market, and the quality truly is fantastic. We look forward to enjoying this set for years to come.

Awful ODOR from cushions!

I have had my lakeside sofa for a week now and there is an awful chemical smell on the cushions that won’t go away. It makes my house smell like the odor if our windows are open and give me a very bad headache. I cannot sit outside and enjoy my backyard.

Solid, well-built. Have many plywood pieces (13), and they survive the East Tennessee summers, snow, and pine pollen with ease. Recommend you store the cushions indoors during pollen season. I have a photo to share, not sure how to upload it to this review. Will keep trying.

Went together easily, fairly comfortable seating!

Great couch! My 5 yr old and I put it together in about a half hour, all the holes lined up and instructions felt clear. Couch is pretty comfortable. Bottom cushions a bit firm, but hopefully that translates to longevity! Back is a tad bit low (hit me low shoulder blades) - if you're looking for something to lean back into and really lounge, this is not it. 4 slender adults fit seated across in a pinch, and I can lay down on it comfortably (~5'9"). Weathered Tweed color is a happy medium between a neutral light and something that won't show stains, dirt, and bird poop (it does live outside!)

Not happy with my cushions

I see all these photos of other people's deep seated sofa...my bottom cushions look nothing like this. The fabric on mine is loose, not tight and fitted like other pictures show. I've only had the sofa for about 3 months and the cushions already look worn because of the loose fitting fabric.

Vineyard Furniture Set Did NOT Disappoint!!!

We recently completed major home renovation project which included adding 1,000 Sq. Ft. of new livable space and 1,000 sq. Ft. of a new garage. We also removed our old porch and built a brand new and bigger front porch. We bought a complete Polywood Vineyard Set with the couch, 2 chairs, and 2 ottomans. They make our already new and beautiful porch look even nicer with an upgrade in class! We are so very happy with this set! It was easy to install, extremely heavy duty, and is beautiful! Yes it’s a lot of money but it is a set that will require very little maintenance and will last a lifetime! We highly recommend this product!!! BTW: Cushions are very high quality too! Would post pictures but I was not given the option.

Nice furniture, poor quality cushions

We bought this sofa as part of the 5 piece deep seating set and have had it set up in Northern Califonia (mild weather) since May of 2022. The sofa, love seat, and chair are nice and comfortable and look great. Unfortunately, all 6 cushions are falling apart at the seams. I asked customer service if they would replace them since it has only been just over a year and they declined and offered me the price of $179 for each seat back and cushion. I think if Polywood were to go with another cushion manufacturer it could be an A plus product. I am disappointed to spend over 3000 dollars on something and not have it last longer or have better customer support attached to it.

Nice, but.......

We have the deep seating rocking chairs and absolutely love them. This couch came with frustrations for us. It was not shipped with the correct hardware so had to call and order the correct hardware and wait for that to arrive before assembling. Also, some of the screw holes were slightly off and not big enough so we had to work VERY hard to get it put together. Frustrating for furniture that I thought would be easy to assemble like so many others have said. Lastly, the couch is just not as comfortable as the rocking chairs. I wish I had only ordered the chairs.

Better prices then the local Amish

Very happy with our purchase. We have a resin porch swing from the Amish that has held up beautifully being left outside 365. So when it was time to finish our patio collection I knew I’d never go back to wood or aluminum furniture. But the Amish prices were INSANE! Poly wood’s prices were appropriate for the quality. They were easy to assemble, they’re heavy enough to not blow around in a storm, cushions are insanely comfortable and of great quality. I’m saving to buy a couple rockers for the front porch as well.

Whew! Just what I wanted.

I had so many things I was looking for. I didn’t want the woven deck furniture because our deck is often in shade and we were worried about drying. I didn’t want to spend thousands, but I also didn’t want to go cheap because I knew it wouldn’t last as long. I’m average height but I didn’t want the seat cushions to go too deep where you can’t get up easily. I wanted quality cushions and lucky for me the seat cushions are firm and the back cushions are much softer, a good combo in my opinion. We used a screw driver with an Allen wrench bit and the set up went very quickly. It would still have been easy with the tools from Polywood. I was worried about buying something so big online, but the risk paid off and I’m really happy with my choice. It’s light enough to move around, but has enough weight to feel stable. The cushions don’t have ties which I knew, but they stay pretty snug. It’s hard to imagine the size until it’s set up, so just be aware of all the dimensions. For us it was not too small and not too big. It was just right. I wanted a dark brown and I was worried it would be a light milk chocolate color, but it’s a nice brown with maybe a hint of russet. It’s not a dark brown black. And I don’t remember if I ordered this or if it’s the way it comes, but there is a slight texture that I really like. Feels appropriate for outside.

Finally, a year round outdoor sofa!

This outdoor sofa is just what we were looking for. We access our deck with a spiral staircase, so once furniture is together, it will stay outside all year in the New England weather. It was easy to put together, and comes with very thick comfortable cushions. The sturdy plastic composite cleans easily. The screws are recessed or hidden and painted to match the color of the frame, seemingly a minor detail but a worthwhile upgrade compared to competing brands. We highly recommend this sofa and will be purchasing other pieces in the future.
