The basket has no internal structure so it totally collapses in on itself. It bc won’t stand up.

I gave it a 3 because one of the baskets was folded into s ball in the shopping box. Does wonders for the shape. Collapses onto itself. Grrrrrr

Absolutely no support. It is just a pile of jute. If your use would have it full all the time it might work.

This is a beautiful two-toned, soft jute basket that is ideally suited to hold thick blankets and throws or toys. The description should probably make it clear that it’s a soft jute woven basket and that the sides are not rigid. . . It does ship with a round cardboard insert placed at its base (approx 15”), which at least helps stabilize the base. But unless your plant is in a sturdy container measuring at least 15” diameter (16” ideally), the soft material sides of the basket won’t stay up on their own, they will slouch down and collapse. . . Thankfully, I was able to resolve this! I purchased this to hold a large bamboo plant so I placed the bamboo in its large plastic container inside the jute and then generously stuffed the sides, between plastic container and jute planter, with crumpled paper bags and garbage bags to create a much tighter fit. I then added a fairly thick upper layer of dry moss and voila, it looks great. . . Shipping was fast but what a joke. The cardboard shipping container was partially collapsed, partly open, ripped in several places and only partially re-taped. But because this is a soft basket, no damage done. A regular, hard basket would not have survived such careless handling. . . Four stars for the beautiful fabric, tassel, craftsmanship and excellent price. One star deducted for product description and sloppy shipping. With a little tweaking, this can work beautifully for a large plant.

These are really so well made. And versatile too. Right now using for plants. They do fall down so if you’re no stuffing it. Spray with water and it will dry and stiffen

This is an an Absolutely Beautiful basket. Colors are just like the picture. Good size basket for my throw blankets from my couch and my pillows. I love it !
