It looks stylish.

We’ve only used this once and it was nice to have a fire that was raised up. It’s much bigger than I thought it would be. It looks very stylish. Easy for two people to carry. One person could carry it but the size makes it unwieldy. Because it’s higher up, you need to be aware of spitting fire so keep it slightly further away from people and furniture (then fires lower to the ground).

Fireplace oasis!

Sturdy in the weather, has lasted me for the last few years. Would recommend.

I love the simplicity of this fire pit, it looks amazing in my yard and functions beautifully. I have left it outside over the winter and it is in great shape and I still love the style even though I get easily bored and want to upgrade things often.

How do I remove the rust?

Love this fire pit but it’s rusted so much and we just purchased it last summer. How do I remove the rust?

Fiberglass that looks like concrete

Lightweight fiberglass that looks like concrete with thin sheet metal inserts. Ours was destroyed when a 3" tree branch was dropped on it. Overpriced. All that said it is good looking and inspite of all its failings my wife wants us to buy another one.

Cheap looking, defective, and flimsy!

Not as advertised and cheap looking.

DON'T BUY. THIS IS NOT CONCRETE

The first thing I noticed was that the box was too light to be concrete. Then, I looked around the box and there is no evidence in the box or the manual stating that this is made out of concrete. It is only the HDepot site that this is concrete. When I opened and touched it, the texture was like plastic and or fiberglass. The interior look is definitely like something made out of fiberglass. The scariest part came when I read that the manual said that we could not use any type of liquid fuel to light the fire. I run to home depot and I return it. It would have been a way of money. Unfortunately, the fire pits made out of real concrete are too expensive. Please, don't buy it

[Rewarded Review] Looks Fantastic Operates Like It Is on A Safety Setting

Unfortunately this beautiful fire pit cannot fit logs over 3-4”s tall. Only 2” or less wood will fit more than three or four pieces. Also be careful of the concrete body if you are moving it around so you don’t crack or chip it. If you live near the ocean the metal parts will rust. You might want to buy barbecue paint and paint it before it starts rusting. Great looking but not a product built for a big fire. More of a s’mores or hot dog cooker.

[Rewarded Review] Not for grilling

The grey cement is a different look for a fire pit. I’ve left this outside for the past month with temps ranging from below freezing to over 70 degrees Fahrenheit, no cracks or breaks. As long as you put it on a level spot, it doesn’t shift or move around. That’s all the positive I have to say about it though. The top metal mesh doesn’t cover the entire surface area of the firepit so embers can escape through a one inch gap around the entire perimeter. The grate for the top for cooking is too small to stay all the way at the top, it has to rest on the metal bowl at the bottom of the firepit. Only allowing about 1 inch from the heat source to the food grate, maybe small charcoal briquettes but not a real wood burning fire to grill with. It works as a fire pit if you’re not concerned with using a cover to contain floating embers, that’s about it. I don’t care for it.

[Rewarded Review] Looks nice, not too heavy, just worried about rust

This fire pit arrived extremely well packed in a big box with lots of foam to pad it. It is made of the lightweight concrete base (that's some interesting material), a steel tray, a steel frame that holds the tray, a small lower rack, a larger upper rack (that you could cook on) and the domed top to catch embers. It includes a very basic wire poker as well. I accidentally left it outside on the deck during two surprise cold snaps (the first was 20F dry and another storm that was around 30F with snow) and it did fine in the harsh weather. I did notice a little rust starting around the edges of the frame which worries me. It might need to be touched up with some spray paint after a season. It came with very clear and helpful instructions, which is pretty funny as it takes barely any assembly - just stacking the parts in the correct order...

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful firepit

This firepit is a beautiful addition to my xeric back yard. It looks great with my gray paver stones and rock features. We did add a paver stone into the bottom of it to keep it stable as we have lots of wind here, as well as some sand to keep the firepan in place. It is the perfect height for sitting in chairs and roasting marshmallows!

[Rewarded Review] Pretty and Solid Bowl, but light metal accessories!

I must admit, I wasn't sure how a concrete fire pit would work, but, upon receiving and unpacking it, I could see this baby could have been really nice. It has a grate in it so you can grill stuff as well as have a campfire. However the grill was very lightweight and thinly made as well as not fitting securely on the bowl so, I'm not sure how well it will work if you try to flip burgers on it or move grilling meat around on it. There is a bowl that is rather shallow that fits on a ring around the top of the pit I think intended mainly for charcoal. If you use it as shown in the instructions, it will have to have either very small pieces of wood, or charcoal briquettes however, it also looks like the bowl will fit in the bottom of the pit which allows for larger pieces of wood to be used which is where I intend to use it. Now, we are just finishing up our cottage and won't be able to put a fire in it for a few more weeks when the patio excavation is finished, but, it needs to be installed over something burn-roof, such as a cement floor or gravel, etc., where I think it will work out well. I am not sure why the small bottle of paint as when you burn things in a vessel this size, you should expect it to discolor from the heat. Since we prefer small fires as opposed to large ones, this pit will work out for us just fine, although, if you have need for larger fires, it may not be the pit for you. I was not fond of the screen which keeps the sparks and ash from flying around because it did not fit securely and moved around easily. With a smaller fire, the pit is easier to clean. The packaging is good and the unit is light enough to handle easily. I was surprised how light it was. Since the base has a hole in it, I plan to sink it into the ground about 3-4 inches which will also make it more stable. Also, while you can leave the basin out in the rain, I wouldn't recommend leaving the metal parts out as they can rust. The nice thing, though is that the metal parts are easy to keep inside as assembly and disassembly are quick and easy. When cool, you can just put them in a box or bag. If you buy your wood, the packaged stuff you get in the stores should fit pretty well when the bowl is in the bottom of the unit and the grill is not used. Otherwise you will have to chop your wood in small enough pieces to fit. As noted in the instructions, don't use processed logs, or petroleum products to start or feed the fire. Unfortunately, I had to give this only 3 stars because of the way the grill and screen fit on the unit. Also, the poker they give you didn't fit in the lift ring on the screen which made it difficult to lift the screen on and off when hot. Since the cement caldron has a hole in the bottom, make sure you only put it on non-flammable surfaces - not on a deck. Would I recommend this? Yes, for small fires - don't expect to make a bonfire in it, be careful with placing the screen and don't bother trying to grill much on it. It is best for a small comfy caldron fire on a stone patio with possibly a fireproof protector to keep the ashes from spilling onto the patio. I do like the design, I just wish the engineering was a little better.

[Rewarded Review] Looks great!

Wow, this firepit looks great and like it would weigh a ton but it really isn't that heavy and can be moved by one person. But it really has that great concrete solid look. It's a wonderful addition to any patio or backyard space and comes with its own grate and fire tool. All in all its a great addition to anybody's backyard space and feels wonderful on a chilly spring or fall day!

[Rewarded Review] Good looking fire pit but on the smaller size.

This comes well protected with lots of foam protection. The base is a thin fiber "concrete" that really isn't tat heavy or hard to move around (maybe 35lbs for just the base). The assembly is easy as there's only a few parts and no tools required. Within a few minutes, I had it together and a fire going. The first fire is doing to smell a bit as the paint/oil and whatever else has to be burned off. This goes away after a while. The pit id not all that deep which means the fire will be somewhat small. This means the wood used will need to be split and cut into fairIy small pieces (no round logs over about 4" by 14" will fit and still get the lid on). I would prefer the ability to have a little larger wood in this. Also, because the pan that holds the wood/fire is smaller, it will have to be emptied more often (I would do it after each use). The firepit comes with a poker, screen and a grill as well as a paint kit for fixing scratches. The look is unique and would fit with many outdoor patio styles. Overall, this is an average fire pit in my opinion but would work if you have smaller wood to burn and/or infrequent fires outside. I do like that grilling on this is an option.

[Rewarded Review] Awesome Backyard Fire Pit

The Teamson Home Round Concrete Fire Pit looks so awesome sitting on the backporch surrounded by seating. It's equipped with a tray for holding charcoal, because the fire pit doubles as a grill. This will be perfect for roasting marshmallows or wieners any time of the year. The circular shape is nice, because it helps create a conversational area around the fire pit. If you have a large sized backyard, then there could be an area designated for that. It's sturdy and durable.

[Rewarded Review] Attractive Fire Pit for Grilling With Charcoal

The Teamson Home Wood Burning Concrete Fire Pit was easy to set up and and definitely was an attractive addition to my patio. I placed a few small logs in it with fire starter and quickly had a nice blaze going, but the grill included with the fire pit would not fit with the small logs in the fire box. I had expected to be able to build a fire the entire 30” height but there is a shallow pan sitting on top of the fire pit serving as a firebox. This shallow firebox makes the fire pit more conducive to building a fire with charcoal or manufactured logs rather than chopped logs normally used in an outdoor fire pit. It’s perfect as an outdoor charcoal grill and I would only recommend purchasing this if that was the intended use.

[Rewarded Review] could be a great fire pit depending on use!

The Teamson Home 30 in. x 22.83 in. Round Wood Burning Outdoor Concrete Fire Pit, Brown is a very attractive, easy to use wood burning 'pit' to use at your home if you don't intend to use it as an actual fire pit. The beige/grey looking concrete is like an imitation concrete (which makes it easy to move), but the black shelf you place inside the basin for wood is very shallow and small - really only good for a small fire underneath the cooking grate to use for hotdogs or smores. If you want an actual fire (like in my photos) you have to put that black shelf on the bottom, inside the basin, to have enough room for a larger fire. That seemed to work very very well and we really enjoyed it until we looked the next day. There's a huge burn stain on the concrete basin (the stain is on the outside of the basin). The pit does does come with touch up paint, but the amount given is probably intended for knicks and scratches and would not cover a stain this large after every single use. All that said, if we want a large fire in an actual fire pit, these instructions and build do not lead one to believe this use is for anything other than a small (ie very tiny) fire burning in the top (very shallow) shelf.

[Rewarded Review] Not quite a fire pit

Not the best representation of a concrete fire pit as it seems to be made of fiberglass and is a concrete gray color. No instructions but the assembly was rather easy to follow as the parts fall into each other. The bowl that holds the wood is shallow and will not support a large fire, seems to be made for ambiance over anything else. It does come with a cooking grate if you choose to use it but very thin and pliable. Touch up kit does make it easy to patch any scratches on the bowl.

[Rewarded Review] Attractive Charcoal Grill and Fire Pit Combo

Our old, fire pit had seen better days. The metal parts, stand and mesh cover, were completely covered in rust (yes, I waited too long to get a cover) and the heavy cement firebowl had developed several cracks..... So this Teamson Home 30 inch Wood Burning Concrete Fire Pit was an excellent replacement and fit our needs..... It comes packed with everything you need for burning wood as well as grilling: the stone housing, firebowl, mesh cover, stainless steel rack, charcoal grill, iron ring, poker, instructions and touch-up paint.....The stone-look housing is attractive and very light. That's why I thought it was fiberglass even though it's described as being made of cement. I know there is something called "light cement" which doesn't need to provide structural support so it can be thinner and lighter.....The firebowl (see picture) doesn't hold much wood; maybe two or three small logs. So this wouldn't be something to get if you desire a larger fire or not wanting to add firewood frequently to fire. Also, the space provided between the charcoal grill and the food rack is small. So you're limited to the amount of coals you can pack in there.....All that being said, this is a good choice if you only require a small fire, doing a little grilling, and a fire pit that's light and easy to move.
