Poor cooking of turkey.

Not sure why but with this roaster the bottom of my turkey does not cook. Yesterday with nothing under the turkey except the rack it was the bottom still did not cook 16lbs with very light stuffing. I had to turn the turkey over to let it cook. Why does it do this?

Great pan

The pan was givin as a gift. The pan was dented! The box was fine but the pan edge by the handle was pushed in. It did a beauriful job. They loved the curved rack. Not so much the dent but they felt funny telling me about it. We used it cook our Xmas dinner.

Look elsewhere.

I've had disposable pans last longer.

Non stick coating peels

I have used the roaster twice. The non stick coating is pealing and that is very disappointing. Pretty sure some of the non stick coating ended up in our gravy. I was never rough cleaning it. Don't buy it!

Surface coating failure

After using pan once per year for 3 years, the coating on the roaster pan has multiple small areas chipped off despite meticulously caring and cleaning per recommended procedures, and never using metal utensils. Am discarding and will not replace with this brand.

Great Roasting Pan at a great price

Well made, easy to clean. I really like the combination of the stainless rack with the non-stick pan. My only (minor) issue is the handles. They are larger than expected and stick up quite high with an extended flat grip. While that's functional, it's also a bit in the way and I've got a couple of burns on the wrist after the first use. If I'd known going in, it probably wouldn't have mattered. Overall great pan and probably 4.5 stars is more accurate.

A Great Value

I am very pleased with the Circulon Nonstick Roaster with U-Rack I just purchased. I used it to roast a turkey breast and it worked very well. It's non-stick so it was very easy to clean afterwards. A great value for the price.

Roasting Pan with Handy U-Rack

This roaster pan is awesome. It's a great roomy size, and the handles are comfortable to use. The curved grill is handy and keeps a roast from flipping over. It also makes it easier to use it for more roast sizes.

Good Buy

#1 I didn't realize it would be as big as it is, I assumed smaller and thought I'd have a problem cooking large turkeys and hams. #2 Boy is it heavy feels heavy like cast iron and this brings me to #3 I know we're going to do some good cooking and have some good eating. Pleasantly surprised. Love it

Mostly like it

I have a 17x13 I was replacing with this roasting pan. This one fits inside it so it's a little smaller in width and length than the dimensions state. Love the depth, handles and the easy clean up! Don't like that you can't use it on the stove to make gravy in and I had to transfer the contents and had to clean another pot.

Love,love,love this pan. My ham turned out perfect. It was juicy and the glaze nicely browned and sticky. The pan holds the heat and distributed it evenly. Love the heavy duty rack also. Cleaning it was a breeze...just put some soapy water in to soak. Love it!!!

This pan is perfect for frequent use. I have another heat roasting pan but it’s deeper and quite a bit larger overall, making it a bit inconvenient to use more frequently. This pan gives me the the space needed without being so bulky. Used it the same day received. Easy to clean afterward.

Coating failure

I used this roaster exactly three times. This (last) time, the coating failed in multiple places. So instead of homemade turkey gravy, I had a toxic waste dump.

Hate the non-stick coating

I've had my roaster for about 5 years but only used it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love everything about it except that the non-stick coating is peeling terribly. My pan has been well taken care of. I don't use damaging implements in it and I wash it carefully by hand. So with its care and the small amount of times it's been used, I hate that I'm now having to replace it because I don't want peeling flakes in my food or in my sink. Very disappointing. Would rate it a 5 otherwise.

No response from Circulon

I have a different model of this and used it only 4 or 5 times to make a turkey. I notices that there were bumps forming under the non stick coating. Then they opened. Then they rusted! I washed this by hand, dried it and put it away in its box, each time, after it was used! It is the WORST roaster I ever had! I submitted a warranty claim months ago and got NO REPLY from Circulon! There was NO spotting on the bottom! Considering that nonstick coatings can be carcinogens, I could have been digesting poisons in my gravy!

Solidly made and a good size for most roasting. The handles are sturdy and conveniently positioned, and the stainless roasting rack is strong. Cleaning is not exactly fun, however, but I cannot fault the pan. Any pan that spends an hour or more in a hot oven with meat juices splattering around will be a chore to clean. The rack is hardest due to the corners and angles. Although the pan is nonstick coated, I am wary of damaging the coating by using a rough scouring pad, so have to be content with soaking and sponge cleaning, eventually leading to some buildup of splatter.

Best roaster, best gravy EVER!

During no-travel pandemic holidays, this recently purchased replacement saved the day. We stuffed and roasted a turkey using the easy to lift insert in our new pan. Best part was that for the first time EVER, the drippings did not scorch! Thus I made beautiful gravy, with none of the last minute drama! This easy to clean roaster will meet my Christmas prime rib

For the price this is a decent roasting pan. It is a good size with a great rack. What I don’t like is- that despite following directions on temperature, cooking procedures, and cleaning- the bottom of my pan discolored after the third time I used it. I have used this pan 4 times in the last 5 months. Regardless of how many times I try to clean it- the discoloration remains. I don’t see this roasting pan lasting very long.

I never thought I'd be reviewing cookware on the Home Depot site, but here I am. LOL. Seriously, though, I didn't realize HD sold kitchen ware and came across it, quite by accident. We just used it for a 19+ lb. Thanksgiving Turkey and it was awesome. We've always used a disposable, aluminium bake pan in the past for Turkey, but when I saw this, I knew it was the only way to go. It has a great, non-stick finish that made clean-up very easy. The feature we liked the best, though, is the rack that you place under your turkey or roast. My wife always stuffs our turkey, and in the past, without a rack, the bird ends up sitting in the fat, and the stuffing always ended up absorbing some of the fat. No More. The rack keeps the turkey elevated off the bottom, and so much easier to take the bird out for carving. We're very happy with it. We'll use it for a Beef Rib Roast for Christmas, as well. Very happy with this purchase. You won't be sorry if you buy this one, believe me.
