Pretty but not comfy

This rug looks great. But it is very thin (no cushion), and the fabric is not soft and comfortable. We bought this for a nursery, but the wool fibers are prickly, and I don't think it is comfortable for playing on the floor with the baby.

I bought this to go in my foyer and bought a pad to go with it so it's definitely worth the extra $$. It not only looks stunning when you first walk in because of the grey, off white and yellow/gold chevron pattern colors. although the picture made it seem more yellow so that's the only disappointment, overall great versatile rug that's wool and hasn't shredded at all...
