Lopsided socket
The product we received was defective (the lightbulb socket is lopsided so the bulb doesn't hang straight). Had to reorder and currently waiting for the replacement. This is inconvenient but we otherwise like the appearance of the light

This fixture lights the way
This fixture takes up to a 100 watt clear bulb. The 100 watt bulb lights up my entire front porch. As with hanging any suspended fixture, having someone hold the fixture while you connect the wiring is helpful. Easy to install / change bulbs from the open bottom. No need to take anything apart. There are less expensive lights out there, but the thicker beveled glass and frame construction of this light are well worth the cost.

Very unhappy
Very disappointed in this fixture. The chain was easily scratched and showed through to silver when trying to shorten for installation. The copper ground wire stands out something awful all the way up the chain into the mounting cap! Why don't they color it to match the fixture!! The light bulb holder is crooked and so the bulb hangs incorrectly, and the clear glass is just plain ugly. The mounting cap is out of proportion with the overall fixture (it's too small) and the directions for installation even disappointed my electrician who gratefully was experienced enough to install this anyways.
Just What I Needed
I recommended these as replacements in our deed restricted community. They match the old ones perfectly!
