Well built beautiful and attractive outdoor lantern. Comes with at least six feet of wiring and chain so no rewiring was necessary. Although it does use a GU24 bulb that is a small price to pay considering the price point of this lantern on sale. Would well recommend.

No problems with delivery or installation. No assembly required, although I made the choice to use pliers to remove links from the chain to shorten it. I also bought a GU-24 adapeter for $3 so I would have to special order lightbulbs. No complaints about the light and the wattage is perfect.

Lopsided socket

The product we received was defective (the lightbulb socket is lopsided so the bulb doesn't hang straight). Had to reorder and currently waiting for the replacement. This is inconvenient but we otherwise like the appearance of the light

Great way to spruce up the exterior over my old brass fixtures.

Poor Quality

I bought this light less than a year ago, but as soon as something went wrong contacted the manufacture and received extremely poor service. Do yourself a favor and don’t but this product, it will fall apart very fast and manufacture is of no use.

Substantial but lacking in finish

Nice fixtures but with a powder-coated finish that seems not to have been fully fused so that the surface is rough and semi-porous. Looks fine but will probably grab dust and dirt and hold onto it.

This fixture lights the way

This fixture takes up to a 100 watt clear bulb. The 100 watt bulb lights up my entire front porch. As with hanging any suspended fixture, having someone hold the fixture while you connect the wiring is helpful. Easy to install / change bulbs from the open bottom. No need to take anything apart. There are less expensive lights out there, but the thicker beveled glass and frame construction of this light are well worth the cost.
