[Rewarded Review] Stylish Light, Easy Install!

I like the nautical look of this light, it reminds me of my childhood home. This lamp was very easy to install, comes with all of the requirwd mounting hardware, to include wire nuts. But if your lamps are in series the you will need the next size larger wire nut. As you can see from the photos, my electrical meter is in a bad location. Easy fix, I drilled two more mounting holes a few inches down and problem solved. The photo sensor works great, I covered it with tape for the photos, but anticipate no issues after dark. I also used an edison bulb that is blue tooth controlled.

[Rewarded Review] Lantern Needs Direct Sunlight for Automatic Turn On/Off

I was impressed with the rustic styling of the Canyon wall-mounted, outdoor lantern and I liked the idea of light that automatically switched on after dark and off during the day. It was easy to mount the lantern next to the door of my porch, and the package included everything but a screwdriver. But, I was disappointed that light sensor did not turn the light off during the day because it was not in direct sunlight on a shaded porch. The sensor worked perfectly and turned off the lantern if I held a flashlight directly over the sensor, so placement should be considered before purchasing if you're interested in the automatic turn on/off feature.

[Rewarded Review] Looks great, throws loads of light, awesome light, but I love the quality MOST of all

I love this light! It looks great, I would describe is as high quality, built to last, and it throws a LOT of light! It also has a built-in sensor that will turn the light on in response to darkness, off in response to light, which saves on electricity, instead of leaving it on when its not needed. The metal has a great finish, and it is strong, not flimsy at all; the clear crackle glass similarly looks great and is similarly strong, thicker than regular glass. I LOVE the look on each; it looks high end. I love not only its "look", appearance, but also that it is SUPER EASY AND CONVENIENT to replace the bulb. I live in a cold weather state; it seems that outdoor lighting bulbs always need to be replaced in the winter. I must go out in the freezing cold, possibly snow, rain or ice, get up on a ladder to remove the top cover for access to replace bulbs. NOT any more. Great thinking by the manufacturer to design this fixture so that the bottom of it is OPEN. You need not remove any covers, simply remove the old bulb, replace it with a new one; I may not even need the ladder now. HOW I LOVE THIS IDEA! It will now be super easy to replace bulbs, be in and out in a minute, super convenient! I LOVE that convenience, especially in inclement weather. The fixture is also wet location approved. Something else about this light, it looks like it is "hanging" on a hanger. Know that this light fixture is totally secure; it will NOT be blowing around, sway when the wind blows; it will NOT budge, it is secure, stable, so no worries. I have a friend that is an electrician. Re: light fixtures, he directed me to BUY QUALITY lights; I am convinced that I have found just that! No regrets, I am VERY PLEASED with this light. It also comes with a 5 year warranty. It is manufactured by Westinghouse, which has been around for a long time... I think the experience SHOWS! Nice work! I highly, highly recommend it! I love it, and I think that you will too!

[Rewarded Review] Outstanding packaging and quality

Sometimes when you receive shipped products you just go "WOW!!!" , and receiving this lantern was just that. First, absolutely outstanding packaging. Shipping cardboard box, item cardboard box with specs, molded styrofoam insert taped together, and separate ziploc bag for included hardwear. Doesn't get any better than that! Second, the lantern is absolutely delightful. Fit and finish perfect, all needed parts included. Installation took 10-15 minutes, and the result is better than we hoped for. Three thumbs up for this one guys!

[Rewarded Review] Great Outdoor Lighting Upgrade

Greetings Fellow Outdoor Lighting Enthusiasts. First off, WOW! This outdoor light fixture is well built, durable and very stylish. I got this to update my 70’s era outdoor lighting next to my front door. It’s lightweight for its size, yet strong and rigid for outdoor weather. It comes with a durable black finish that should provide me with years of use in all kinds of weather. The “crackle” glass is a nice touch of elegance in my opinion. The light comes pre-mounted to the mounting base, which installs directly onto your existing junction box. All the necessary hardware is included fo installation as well. It’s simple enough for the typical DIY’er to tackle themselves in just a few short minutes. Just be sure to turn the breaker off before starting any electrical work, SAFETY FIRST. What a great budget friendly lighting option. Buy with confidence.

Haven't installed the lights yet but bought 3 of them... They sure do look nice and are of a nice caliber in size. I am looking forward to them being part of our decor :)

[Rewarded Review] Old style look with modern features.

A great replacement for my old front porch light. Been wanting to replace it since I bought my house. And this was it. The dusk to dawn feature is great, especially if you go on vacation and want to know your house will look occupied even if you’re not there. The cracked glass and black finish give it that old style home feeling and look. Easy to install with existing wiring and comes with a mount to complete your installation. Easy to replace the bulb without having to remove anything. Just go through the bottom of the fixture.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful outdoor wall fixture

This is a very nice looking outdoor light for your front porch or garage. Both the fixture and the glas globe are very good quality. It comes with good instructions so any DIY'r should be able to install it. It was well packed and arrived unbroken, with all necessary items for assembly and installation. I found an old fashioned amber light bulb which looks better than LEDs etc.

Greatly impressed with this well-made gorgeous exterior wall light! Made in the USA by Westinghouse, this light comes completely assembled - which is a treat these days. Fully assembled, to me anyway, is a sign of a higher quality product. This rustic Canyon Outdoor Lantern is beautiful, partly because it is perfectly assembled. Its black textured finish is evenly applied and its retro clear hand blown glass shade gives an additional accent to the light. It accepts a standard E26 (screw-in based bulb) whether incandescent or LED. Attesting to its quality level is Westinghouse's 5-year warranty. Standard wall lighting with black, white, and ground wires. Always, turn off the circuit breaker. Depending upon the wetness of your light's location, you could use waterproof wire nuts and a bead of silicone around the outside edge of the fixture. While it is not mentioned in the instructions, the light comes with a dawn to dusk sensor that is already wired into the fixture, so you only need to do a normal wire connections. At this price point, this is a bargain for such a quality light.

[Rewarded Review] Pretty Light

In looking for a new light for our front porch, we liked the design of this light. It reminded us of an old school lantern hanging on the side of a barn. Although this one can not be taken down and have the wick blown out, but that is probably a good thing. It is really nicely built and the "cracked" glass look is really well done. The only draw back to it is the dawn to dusk feature. This can be a nice feature, unless you do not want to use it. This light does not come with a little cover for the sensor that you can use this light like any other on/off light. You have to use a something like a piece of electrical tape to change it to a regularly controlled light fixture. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if it came with a little rubber cover for the sensor.
