We installed this about 8 months ago and are very pleased with it. It is solidly built and arrived with no flaws or damage. The drawers and doors operate nicely. We put a dark grey Silestone top on it with polished nickel faucet and it is a really handsome piece.

Avanti Thompson V30 30" Vanity cabinet

The cabinet is beautifully crafted and nicely finished with higher quality components. It is a real upgrade to the Powder Room. The marble countertop we chose adds to the "wow" effect. The standalone design with handsomely carved feet and clean, elegant lines will let our guests know that we have saved the best for them! The lower drawer could have been a little deeper to accommodate toilet paper, but it is not a big drawback.

This review is primarily about the service. Both the top and base arrived broken. It was obvious that they were both packed this way (separately), since the shipping container was in perfect condition. It was a huge hassle to get another one ordered through HOUZZ in what was supposed to be in time to have it installed before I lose my contractor, and I'm still dealing with trying to get the replacement, even though it was supposed to have been here a few days ago (latest). . . In terms of the vanity, itself, the "charcoal" color is a little warmer than I'd expected. If you're going with a strictly black & white or cool grey bathroom, you may want to steer clear.

got the vanity is good time. several drawers were not working. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong. The latch on the bottom was not working. Had to reposition the catch. The paint is rather inconsistent and smelled heavily of VOC's like it was just painted. They are VERY heavy and seem well built. The size is a little misleading as the 48" width is made up of 1.75 inches of trim. The depth is accurate at 21.5 inches. Pretty expensive too. We'll see how it holds up with time.

[Rewarded Review] Not cheap and not worth it

We gutted our bathroom and I fell in love with this cabinet and the linen cabinet that goes along side it. Two years later we are looking at cracks in the finish at many of the joined pieces. Very disappointed in the quality of the longevity. We did not spend $3000.00 on two cabinets to have to replace them three years later. Do not buy these.

Absolutely Beautiful!

I'm so happy I waited for this item to come back in stock. It is well worth the wait. The self-closing drawers, though kind of hard to open compared to a regular drawer, are a wonderful feature. The marble top is beautiful. The vanity is really high quality, with a lovely finish, and made of solid wood so it's really heavy. Technically, if you have this delivered it is 'curb-side delivery'. But the delivery man was kind enough to drag this thing up my steep driveway and get it into my garage. I don't know how we'd have gotten it home otherwise. It definitely won't fit any any car/SUV I've ever seen. And it's so heavy I'm not sure most large pick-up trucks could handle the weight. It came really well packaged and had no damage at all. It took my boyfriend and my 26 year old son to get it from the garage to the upstairs bathroom, and they had to remove the drawers to make it a little lighter. You will definitely need at least 2 strong men to move this! My boyfriend, who is handy but is not a plumber, was able to install this himself. I also bought the matching linen tower and that is just as beautiful! I highly recommend this vanity and I couldn't be happier. (I posted a picture, which is prior to the faucet install and hanging a mirror obviously. My bathroom doesn't have a window, so it's hard to get a good picture. Please believe me when I say the vanity and linen tower look WAY better in person than they do in this picture!)

Great product!

Great product and great price. Slow-closing drawers and doors are a really nice feature. Sturdy construction and seems like the finish is durable. My family will put it to the test in no time, but for now it appears to be really durable. I'm very happy with this purchase so far.
