Good water heater, sparse documentation.

Good heater. Documentation does not say what pressure rating the required pressure relief valve needs. There is nothing in the listing in Home Depot about needing a qualified plumber but the instructions say that is what is needed. I am not a qualified plumber, but I installed upgraded electrical components and soldered the required copper tubing together to install according to the instructions. The heater does a good job heating water for our small cabin in the woods.

So far so good. You can use the supplied 1/2" compression fittings with shark bite 90s for the first 36" coming out. I added shark bite cut off valves in the middle of the copper. After that you can use shark bite to go to cpvc or pex. Very simple. Water is very very hot on lowest setting. Does take about 25 seconds to get hot.

Faulty Product

Was unable to change at the settings on the heater upon installation. Didn't work. Attempted to use the reset button but this also did not work. Faulty product and could not return as we live out of country.

Great for small apt,condos etc.

Solid performer

We have another one of these installed in our bathroom that's been going strong for 5 years. 2x better than any other brand we've tried. We now have three of them in the house for point of use. Great buy, and very easy to install.

It works great. This is my second one. I added a filter to see if it lasts more than 3 years. Hopefully, it will last much longer then I would give it five stars. Otherwise, I love the instant hot water it gives. It does take some time for it to travel from water heater to destination but that is to be expected.

The fittings on the water heater should be built in female threaded fittings.

We purchased this unit after reading several reviews . It turned out this unit is to small for our needs , it can only heat about a gallon per minute. I would suggest anyone looking for a unit to heat water for a home go bigger . This unit might be ok if you live in a warmer climate but it does not preform well here in Western North Carolina.
