Works like I want it to.

I bought this pot to cook a pound of bacon and have done so a couple times. Works great. I like the clear glass lid. Clean up is easy, let it cool down, then let soapy water sit for awhile, cleans up great.

This is a beautiful stock pot, it is heavy bottomed, cooks evenly on much lower heat. Its large enough for any soup, stew or any other large dish. I love it, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a nice pot or it would be a beautiful gift.

Perfect for making chicken broth

We have several Tramontina pieces of cookware, the only ones I could use with our induction cooktop, and think this pot would be perfect for making chicken broth with Sam’s roasted chicken. With cooler weather, I will try it out.

Nicely crafted. But..

What I was really looking for was a wide mouthed pot for making meat stews and curry. I have the 24 quart-size of this pot and it is perfect for when Im making pasta sauce from scratch, I was hoping this 12 quart pot would have the same wide rim but it doesn’t. Still debating whether to return or keep it.

Wonderful stock pot. It is sleek and sturdy, and easy to clean. Feels high quality and has lasted through a lot of heavy cooking. I expect it will last a long time. It distributes heat evenly for when you need to brown something, though I primarily use it for liquids (soups, stews, pasta). It is the perfect size for my “large” stock pot.

Great big pot that serves so many purposes. Whether its chili for a crowd or preserving this pot can handle it all. Well made thick base and great capacity. Well worth the price tag very happy.

I love this pot! It’s wonderful for my chicken and dumplings. I put it on for a low boil and it did just that without burning on the bottom. Now I want a whole set of pans. Great for the piece for the money. It’s larger and deep but not too big for my electric glass stovetop.

I recently purchased an induction range and needed a stock pot that was induction compatible. This one works beautifully. It has a thick bottom so big pots of soup, etc. cook evenly and don’t stick. This is my second piece of Tramontina cookware (I also have an enameled 7 qt. Dutch Oven) and I’m thrilled with both.
