Wish I bought sooner - won't need another
I love the price and performance of this pot. The look is refined and it heats well, just like you'd think. I bought this to replace a calphalon item of similar design that had weathered over time and was unnecessarily non-stick coated. It's a great replacement.
I really liked the extra handle on the opposite side of the pot. It holds a lot and otherwise would be hard to carry around without it.
Couldn’t be more satisfied…
High quality. Great performance. Fair price. Made in Brazil. Really nice tools for the home cook/chef.
Looks and feels like quality to me.
A little difficult to clean because of the long handle, however draining a pot full of soaked beans using both handles while holding onto the lid makes it easy to use. I'm glad I bought it. I purchased this and the 6 qt pot. Like I said on my review of the 6 qt pot: they made my old pots and pans jealous. So, if I find a scratch or dent in either of these, I'll know who to blame.

I really like its shape and size. It’s exactly what I needed. I also like the finish. It’s easy to clean and lt heats small amounts evenly.
Good size. Great double handle.
This replaces a slightly larger pot. Turns out this is a good size, Plenty big for boiling pasta and making soup. Best feature is the extra handle when carrying hot contents. This sort of handle is very hard to find. Down side is stainless steel can discolor in the drying heat of the dishwasher, so if you want to keep it shiny, it should be-hand washed.

I did a lot of research before I made this purchase and this cookware has exceeded my expectations. Easy to clean (even without Teflon) beautiful and heats evenly. Best yet you can use a lower heat setting due to the way the pan is constructed. The handle stays cool to the touch.
[Rewarded Review] A Great Value
I purchased several pans of the Tramontina line which blend in well with my higher end tri-ply units. There is virtually no difference in performance. The quality and results you get for what you spend is well worth it. They tolerate the dishwasher and oven well. I have a gas stove and they do heat up quickly with no hot spots. Any lingering stains come out with either BKF or put some water and dish soap or vinegar in the pan and heat over the stove to soften up the more stubborn stuff. This is forever cookware. Enjoy!
Premium Quality at a bargain price!
The Tramontina 4qt. sauce pan I received has been a great addition to my kitchen. I have recently been upgrading my cooking equipment to meet specific cooking needs: Carbon steel fry pans, a copper bottom saute' pan etc. This sauce pan has met all my expectations for quality materials, finish and cooking performance. My sauces do not get as lumpy with the heat transfer of this "clad" saucepan. Food heats faster and with lower heat settings and less chance of scalding the contents or burning, all at a price that can't be beat! Clean-up has been easy as well: with no burned food, they just wash up in seconds!
Great size, aesthtically pleasing
This was purchased to replace a non-stick 4 quart sauce pan. I decided to go stainless steel this time so I didn't have to purchase another pan when the non-stick coating wore down (eek!). It is tough finding a pot in this size, open stock, that doesn't have a spout that is so trendy right now, and for this price. It's a really pretty pot. The heavier weight has taken some time to get used to. The handle feels great, not too long and not too short. It "spits" a little bit when the lid is on during a rolling boil. It appears to be good quality. With non-stick, you can wash and let it dry on the dish rack. The maintenance on the stainless steel is more laborious (dry with cloth) but I plan on keeping this for a long time. I have a gas stove and the rainbow colors often appear in the pan after cooking. A quick rub with a lemon on the inside does the trick every time, chemical free. I am happy with this purchase.
My New Favorite
I stumbled upon Tramontina when I purchased an asparagus cooker. It was the only one in the store, and I didn't buy it because of the brand name Once I got it home, it quickly became my favorite pan, and I used it for many other foods. I loved the heft of this line and the polished appearance.
Amazing Pan For The Money
I need to replace all of my stainless cookware because it's not compatible with induction. I currently own Calphalon's fully clad tri-ply pans. I've tested Cuisinox, All-Clad, Sur La Table and Le Creuset, all in fully clad stainless, 3 plies.
