Clean, Transitional Style Light

This light fixture looks just like its photos. It really helped modernize my 1980's kitchen! I decided to purchase the matching (smaller) one for above the sink as well as for the hallway out to the garage.

The pendant is quite pretty and well made. However, it was shinier than our other brushed nickel fixtures, so I had to return it. Nothing wrong with the product, just be aware it might be shinier than expected (but don't worry, it isn't polished).

Only problem with hanging this light is that the cold/hot wires are not clearly marked. Much better quality than the chandelier I purchased. These seem to be all metal plated brass, not solid, although I didnt expect at this price. The flush mounted globe is a different alabaster look. Ive decided to replace those with this Semi Flush ones.

I just wish the glass part had a denser milkish coloring to it. I have 9 foot high ceilings and did not need the chain which I was able to mount without the chain (that was a plus if you are not sure).

Wanted to change out a ceiling fixture that had been in our hallway since our home was built in 1976...definitely needed an update! My husband and I both liked this one. Very nice for the price. Looks great and can be installed as shown or as pendant with purchase of a n additional piece. We installed as shown which was very easy and it looks great.

My wife and I couldn't agree on a light fixture for our foyer. This was the PERFECT compromise. We both love it, and it looks really great. Installation was fairly straightforward. I did have a small amount of trouble getting the 3 arms at the top to line up, but my wife got a stepladder and with 4 hands we were able to deal with it. We have earthtone color scheme, and I couldn't recommend this product more. Works great with CFLs

These look fantastic hanging in my kitchen and were the cheapest, best looking semi-flush lights I could find. Installation was easy enough. Naturally, the heaviest part was the glass enclosure, otherwise this is relatively light, but seemingly very sturdy. I've had them for well over a year without any issue. One note: it is definitely easier to put the glass lid on with someone else (someone pushing down while the other pushes up and screws it in), but it can definitely be done alone with a little patience. Bottom line: price, look, and quality combine to make some fine lights.

This is a pretty well constructed light, especially for the price. We returned it because we expected it to cast light up onto the ceiling and it doesn't do that--the metal rim is actually a solid plate the way a surface mount fixture is made. This is probably how many of the lights of this style are made but it caught us by surprise.
